I would love for there to be less NPC involvement in PLAYER v PLAYER engagements. Adding another type of NPC (troll) would just be going in the wrong direction.

I'm thinking of it not really being the ultimate siege but a just grunt unit or something. Heck, make it a mount or something with stamina as its star stat.

Oh god no. EP were already butthurt over my use of mages. I can only imagine what would happen if I could sneak up behind them and put a troll on their ass. Id get reported even more than I did for mages.

not sure im understanding but, are you suggesting we use in-game Trolls as weapons agaisnt the enmy in cryodiil? as in the trolls spaming gold sales type of trolls?

interesting idea, but, isnt that banable to use gold selling trolls?

Only if you spammed 20 invincible teleporting AoE trolls.
But I wouldn't report you, I would honestly hit the floor laughing to see that.

If it's not lore friendly, then no. If it is lore friendly, then still no.

If any more siege is to be added, then adding alternative versions of existing siege (e.g. lightning catapult) would be better. Or changing it so that only certain siege types create damage to different areas of the keep e.g. trebuchets damage walls better than doors, ballistae damage wooden structures better than stone walls.

And I remember Dawnguard on skyrim using trained trolls, so its not it can't happen. Trolls can be trained!

As long as they are limited to 1 active per area per faction then I could see it being fun. Otherwise they would be just like merc spamming and ruin PvP even more. In other words, they would have to implement it correctly for it to work.

This seems like it's trolling, but would actually be pretty cool for ep to have. Ad gets trolls since they have them at theory bank already. And dc just uses their orcs.

I didn't vote but Trolls would be kind of cool. GW2 had golems a player could use. Agree with each faction having their own beast. Not going to happen but not a terrible idea!
