Those are pretty The other day as I was leaving work I saw a huge plant that looked exactly like a Nirn Root, and for the briefest moment felt an overwhelming urge to run over and "gather" it... That's bad, I need to spend more time away from my desk.

I went on a religious retreat a few weeks ago, and the place we stayed had a grotto. I kept wanting to say "Tank LFG"

Love this! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets the urge to drop everything and go dashing after flowers irl because they look like the ones from ESO. We have ones around the studio that look just like Bugloss and Lady's Smock.

Saw the corner of an otherwise dark skyscraper illuminated by the morning sun. I got excited for a second thinking it was a Skyshard. But then I realized I was walking to work, not playing the game!

My wife gets angry at me because every time I come home from work I go through every cabin, cupboard, drawer, bag and leave them open.

Thunderstorm was swirling in the distance - very dark clouds with lightning flashes. It was far away from my location but gave me a really nice view of the entire storm system. The way the clouds/lightning were moving and rotating gave me this instant reaction:

"DARK ANCHOR!! RUN TOWARDS!!!"

I looked down and was holding a cup of coffee and not my bow.

Was writing code at work today for "Quality of Asset" processing. Assets are considered higher quality the longer we have held them. The assets go in numbered buckets. I was so, so, *so* tempted to throw out the generic numbered buckets and replace them with White, Green, Blue, Purple, and Gold. :-)

This is great. I had moments like this too, e.g. when i drove by a single blue flower on a meadow and felt the urge to stop and pick the corn flower.

This is weird. I played computer games since the 80ies and never really bothered about graphics. ESO is the first one I stop...lots...and just take in the view.

great thread.... I can carry it a bit further. Sometimes after a long gaming session, that night I'll dream about gathering, nodes and trying to stuff it all into the bank. I wake up tired

This happened to me too.
I was walking down the road and saw some water hyacinth so I started to walk towards it and out of nowhere this guy appeared right at the flower, picked it and then vanished just as quick.

Thank Mara for this thread; I thought I was the only one going slightly crazy
- last week, I was even expecting my gruffy irl banklady to give me the little annoying speech from Stonefalls... she didn't, but the anticipation of it was funny
I want to thank the ppl bringing us these wonderful graphics that carry straight into our dreams and real lives - well done!

Me also my friend! I don't often take a moment to absorb. But this game dose make you do that; unless your a fool.

Could have sworn I saw a skyshard as I walked down my driveway in the early evening. It turned out to be a white Birch tree that had caught the setting sun in a particular way. Lucky to live in the forests of northern Vermont where the world of Elder Scrolls and my real-life environment are oftentimes indistinguishable. The fact that I played Skyrim during the winter months speaks volumes.

You should try play like I do, without the skyshard addon. I see em everywhere! Any blueish glow somewhere and I am in the journal, looking for a tip, getting blasted by a damn Bloodthorn mage, run....right into a werewolf. And pops a Death window who to help me not to die.

I put 2 points in free res now. Think I have most deaths on the server!

Maybe I imagine it, but the mornings, when the sun comes up..seams...better!
