Outpost Teleports

Sometimes you can teleport to and from outposts (when it is not under attack), but sometimes the teleporter is not "working"- there are no mages or whatever powering it up. What determines whether you can use teleporters in outposts? Is it some resource you need to take?

I've never been able to teleport from an outpost. I was entirely under the impression that outpost teleports were one-way.

you are correct - outposts can only be teleported to, not from (provided that you own it and it is linked to your transitus network)

you also cannot rez at an outpost in the same way that you can at a keep

Good to know, thanks. I couldn't recall if I had used them to teleport before, but I always look at what seems to be a broken teleporter as I walk out the outpost door and think how do we get that operational?

Yes but you are right next to the exit so it is fast and easy way to bail if you're on the other side of the universe there and don't feel like running back or killing yourself.

In which case you still have to use the wayshrine near you to leave Cyrodiil. Since the wayshrine is the only way out of Cyrodiil.
