...can we at least have a more robust cosmetic system?

With no fixes to heavy/medium armour on the horizon that I have read about, and light armour/magicka builds being so dominant for healing/dps/tanking, I would love to see a cosmetic system like LotRO has were you can cosmetically equip basically anything.

If we can't easily "play as we want" at least can we have the option to "look as we want"?

Won't work for weapons but it would be an improvement.

Agree. The only piece of armor that isn't light is my chest piece because I don't like the robe's appearance. Yes, I am vain and shallow.

There have been threads requesting light craftable jerkins. The styles exist in the game, but only on drops.

Indeed, a few of us have brought this up at various times already. Hopefully more and more continue to do so!

A cosmetic system sounds great! I'd really like some mauve eye shadow and lip gloss to go with my purple gown!

I wear the dark seducer costume. I've passed it to my alt. It's not really representative because it looks like heavy armor, but it beats the ultra bland disguises.

if i,m gonna be forced to wear a dress i want a bra some make up and a nice set of suspenders... might as well embrace it and we can all mince around like drag queens. =)

i mean even the idea of ESO's robes. trying to stick bits of armour-ish type bits on what is essentially a maxi dress crossed with a bath robe is just weak.

if they were hauberk style light armour or jerkins etc. it wouldnt be as bad. but every one is a ankle lengh gown...... blerghhhh

Even Robin Hood knew that wearing light armor was OP to everything else...

lol, I agree on the weirdness of light armour.

Why is it even called "light armour"? There is no armour to it at all! No one in their right mind would go into battle without some kind of minimal protection from stabbing.

IMO, and this will break from ES tradition, leather armour should be "light" a chain like armour should be "medium" and full plate "heavy".

I think ill head to 7 eleven for a slurpy. Just throw on my light armour foot coverings and and my armoured shirt... I mean my sandals and hoody.

    NO.

If you wear a dress you wear that dress like the pretty pink princess you are!!
Vanity outfits are not something that should be allowed in PVP, and should not be wearable in any PVP areas.

Actually, a lot of "real women" want jerkins too if we're in a fight. Skirts get in the way! i finally found one for my female Altmer mage and I was so happy. :)

I hope you are being sarcastic. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to dress the way you want in pvp or pve.

A more complex costume system would be awesome, the current one is primitive and unappealing.
