Medium Armor - Stamina Regen

Medium armor needs a passive for Stamina regen on kill similiar to that of light armor for magicka.

(A new resource needs to be added for block, dodge, stealth, CC... but thats a whole nother topic)

EDIT: Sorry was super tired when I posted this, I meant to post Bow like destruction staff lol...

I really like my increased block, dodge, stealth, CC on my Stamina build. It really doesn't cost that much for me to use and my Stamina isn't even soft capped.

sure - medium and heavy get as much magicka refill on a kill as light armor provide and light armor gets 28% crit chance as medium provides! deal?

Medium does not give 28% crit, it gives 21%, and that's still less than the 30% potential for caters between prodigy and inner light.

Heavy armor doesnt offer any stamina regen. The only bonus it really offers to a melee combatant is 7% extra melee weapon damage with the juggernaut passive, and 7% extra melee weapon damage from one of the immovable morphs.

Medium armor will give you 21% melee critical chance, 28% extra stamina regeneration, 14% reduced stamina cost on abilities, and 10% extra attack speed.

This is all assuming that 7/7 for each armor type is used.

I am just curious what actual numbers say. As I specialized into it my stamina regen we t up about 5 points. Not enough to me to lose over 200 armor. I am just wondering if it is a lot more noticeable at high level given the caps in the game.

People only look at soft cap so they get confused. Sure soft cap is "acceptable" but wouldn't +20% added defense be better?

Im still pretty certain you don't just throw on any Light Armor and reach the soft caps. Im sure it takes armor increasing traits and possibly even jewelry to reach the soft caps.

If this ISNT the case then Light Armor DOES need to be looked at. Soft capping with Light Armor should NOT be easy to do but manageable.

As for the classes that provide "tanking spells" to reach soft cap in any armor, that is fine as that is working as intended.

But does anyone have actual numbers? From what I see at 32 medium instead of heavy stacking stamina on both goves whirlwind a cost of 30 stamina less. Regen rate changes by about 5 or less. Armor changes by much more.

I use mixed set. Heavy torso, light belt & rest medium. I have caps on stamina regen (without jewelry) and better armor, spell resistance & magika regen then with complete medium set.

Try a Medium Armour Templar using Blinding Flashes, Elude and Hist Bark set. And lol at ennemies attempting to attack you and getting off-balance each time they miss you.

If only it worked so cleanly. Dodging and missing are two separate calculations. Therefore the effects of hist bark and elude don't really add together with blinding flashes in the way the way I feel your post suggests.

What I mean is that adding elude and hist bark to your templar blinding flashes doesn't increase the effectiveness of your blinding flashes. But that's not to say that they aren't effective together, elude/hist bark just doesn't gain specific added effectiveness when blinding flashes is present, and especially vise versa.

Adding hist bark and elude together is adding together in that way though, certainly. But neither of those have the prominent secondary effect of setting off balance (which I'm so jealous of btw, my Mirage(Blur) as a nightblade is garbage compared to blinding flashes in this respect)
