Specular light gone (shiny)

So I jump on PTS for the first time, and my specular light is gone. I don't see a setting.
Everything looks so flat.

What happened?

Ok, so I changed settings from low to high, and it's back.
Um.... I don't see a setting for specular or bumpmap.

Hidden setting?

I think so. I see SPECULAR_MAPS as a setting in UserSettings.txt. It can be edited in there.
