Just got level 50 blacksmithing. Are there perks to this?

I maxed out on blacksmithing, I didn't grind mobs to get stuff to extract and stuff.. I got to 50 just by playing the game normally.

Was there an achievement? I didn't see one come up on my screen. Also what are the perks of being level 50 blacksmith?

1. Am I able to craft a special armour set?
2. Do I get unique bonuses at level 50 blacksmith?
3. Is there an achievement for maxing out professions?
4. Is there something that I can put a skillpoint into that requires level 50 blacksmithing?

Nope. Level 40 is all you need to max out all the skills in the tree. I would imagine that they'll eventually add new crafting ranks at some point but right now, there's no benefit, no achievements or any other reward for hitting 50.

well thats the most stupidest system ever. Why not have the max level at 40 or something. jesus christ

It would have been good to give us a perk at craft level 50 to repair our armor using our own mats (which still would have been a gold sink but one not so obvious or quite as expensive).

But, no, ZM took the easy way at launch. Hopefully they'll add something more meaningful later.
