Impossible Group Search

I hope it's only me but if I missed a group dungeon from a lower level, I find no way to get back to it. The stupid "group search" engine only lets me search groups above my level and in the corresponding area - which usually sums up to 3 possibilities or less.
Anybody can give me a hint how to search groups in other areas and other levels? And nope, sorry, waiting at the dungeon door for hours and asking every player passing by "would you please join my group?" is not a proper solution for a supposedly MMO game... (plus it's usually hopeless, most players already CAME with a group).
Sorry for the impatient tone (and the awkward English - not my native language) but this has been driving me crazy for weeks...
