Recipe drops from enemies?

So the other day I was doing a level 10 DC quest in glenumbra and I got a blue recipe drop from an enemy I killed. How often does this happen to you?
More in the VR's? I only had that one drop from all my characters I have ever played. I've had plenty I found in dressers, trunks etc.

zhevon✭✭✭✭I believe it happened like once - which is a crying shame; recipes should be dropping from mobs, locked chests and containers in dangerous areas. Not containers in banks - it's lame.0 -

so true... i got a purple recipe from a chest in the bank when i logged in... and yesterday got 2 different motiffs when simply changing toons to break down stuff for black smithing... i cant see why motiff as SO expensive when this exploit is SO broken0
