Vampie Quest at level 20? [NB siphon/bow]

I know this is all over Youtube and some in the forums, but ... I have a slow computer and brain ... I was wondering at what level [my char is 20] with, say, green gear and weapons, does a NB have a chance to take on a 42 Vampire Assassin [x10 times] with-OUT having to run around that darn bridge (I keep getting snared on terrain and/or NPC leaves combat?]

Any tips? I am nervous and fighting the "bite clock" ...

I have a 40 dmg bow and dual wield 47 dmg blades ... the bow has the one knock back, but at my level, I am thinking I do not have enough stamina before I am pounced upon. I have the assassin warp to strike ability but thought best to use ranged at lower level. Character has 1 -8- 9 magicka/health/stamina (I believe.)

Also have 12 soul gems and level 20 health & stamina food.

I regret I am not a great player as so many of you are that can do this quest at below level 13.

I did this quest on my level 5 NB, though I used the staircase which you don't want to use.. so my only tip would be to maybe morph your bow knockback skill to draining shot, that way it will knockback the mob and snare it aswell, giving you an easier time if you do not wish to kite it around the staircase.
You could also just stock up on stamina pots and use whenever needed to keep the bow knockback going.

If you still haven't managed to do the quest before the time runs out, then I can give you another vamp bite (for free) if you play in the EU megaserver.

I had no problem and the knock-back was all I needed. No pots, stamina nor health, were needed.

Use the stealth bonus to start the fight, and use the vamp drain in the middle of the fight to take them to about 30% hp or less and fill up your own hp pool. Repeat 10x and your set

I also recommend getting cripple, the speed boost to you and slow to them is very helpful. I did this at 13, but I did use the stairs.

I just did this on my level 20 Nightblade last night, after trying several different builds. Your Magicka-based abilities (spells) will not work very well to do damage, since they are likely to miss, draining your Magicka for no benefit. Stamina-based abilities (physical attacks) worked much, much, so much better.

Start in stealth and use the Shadow ability which stuns for 4 seconds, then Heavy Attack. If you're using Dual Wield, use the first ability in that skill line, then use your 2-second ability to go invisible (hopefully morphed for more crit) and stun again.

The fights were almost a cakewalk after switching it up like this, and the only CC I needed was the stun-from-stealth.
