Help with heavy armor sword and shield leveling build

Right now I use Ransack, burning embers, burning talons or Inhale, shielded charge, and green dragons blood, and I am having a great deal of difficulty at rank 3 in Greenshade. Yes, I know to block and interrupt, as long as I can get to them to interrupt, otherwise I will step out of it as best as I am able. My stat points are 20 mag, 15 Health, 14 sta. Oh, when I say I am having super difficulty, I am speaking specifically about 3 man groups, that are common in quests/delves.

I'd go with a DPS build for solo leveling, sword/shield is kind of weak when you're by yourself. If you have a leveling partner then it works well if they can DPS and heal, but sword/shield solo leveling kind of sucks. You don't output enough DPS to kill some groups fast enough before they kick the crap out of you. With a DPS build, you'll take a bit more damage compared to sword/shield, but you'll also kill things a whole lot more quickly so it's not really an issue.

Just my opinion anyway.

3 man groups can be a pain esp if a healer is there. I like to put all my ability points into health since it has the best return right now, glyph gear with stam and magica. Remember to use food as that will also help quite a bit. Right now id suggest using some cc abilities to help with multiples. I use invasion for the first strike, follow up with power slam on one add and any morph of petrify on another add. I suggest petrify on any range since it cc's for quite a while and uses magica where as power slam is stam based. I use unstable flame or molten whip for dps and green dragons blood for stam and healing. On the last mob I just petrify it and green dragons blood to get some breathing room. Even nerfed, Standard is still good ATM & so is flawless dawnbreaker.

I only use ransack when im group tanking, there are better dps abilities and pulling aggro as a solo is redundant.

I was using ransack, as its fully leveled, and the highest damage stamina skill I had, since I balance all three. I suppose I can drop shielded charge, and relearn invasion, that's what I had through 1-50. I didn't have that much luck with power slam, but maybe I will try it again.

I eventually gave up in favor of 2h for a bit bigger hits, and now have just given up.
