Whats you /played? It just might be you play less as opposed to others rushing the game.

Well i /played for a total of 42 days 40 hours 35minutes and some seconds and i have no veteran yet and not ready to it :)

But i have 8 character, i tried several classes, i deleted and started new ... i am always busy though, never bored so far whatever the way i choose, i only fear Veteran and Craglorn, thanks to all the thread on here and other forums explaining how hard it is, how much problem they have, how we have to be group to succeed etc etc ...

I was going to have one but after reading that the Coldharbour main quest for Veteran was bugged i put her aside until i know its works

So you have played for over 1,000 hours and do not have a veteran rank character yet?

I salute you for your dedication to questing, seriously, I started going nuts after 130 hours and hitting VR1 on my main.

Truly the VR levels are not that bad. They are harder yes, but it is not as bad as this forum make it out to be, just like everything else on this forum that people seem to think is the end of the world. VR Anchors and Group Dungeons are extremely harder tho.

I read some of the posts of how they had so much trouble with x y or z and ask for nerfs. I think, well yeah that was a more difficult fight but that is what made if fun. I don't understand the mentality of people these days just wanting to slam both hands on the keyboard at the same time over and over and expect to win. They just want everything handed to them and no challenge. I'm guess these must be people who played the earlier ESO games on Novice. They have nerfed so many good fights that were by no means impossible it makes me sick.

    *sigh*

We don't want "no challenge" we don't want "everything handed to us"
But when any mob over 1 man is a grueling fight, that is going to push the less "elite" players away.

Thats what you "l2pers" can't seem to get through your thick skulls.

I soloed up to the VR7 zones without too many issues. But anymore, most nights, there seems to be too few people in the upper VR zones to do dolmans and some of the world bosses with.

It seems many may have abandon VR zones for a quick grind to VR12 in Craglorn.

Thats the issue, for most players questing isn't incentive enough to do the lower level zones. The reward isn't there

This is true but I think the shock factor is that a lot loose builds that worked 1-50 don't work in VR zones. This puts a lot of people off who have settled into a build for 30 to 40 levels.

    EXACTLY.

no I don't want to spend the ridiculous amount of gold to respec either, I like my build, its fun for me.

It worked well in 1-50. it should not be having to fight to the death with every average trash mob

It has nothing to with being too hard, etc. They aren't any damn fun. No purpose for anything but leveling. Also, the difficulty is uneven. Kill a boss with no problem, walk out dungeon, destroyed by two alligators.

You can NOT be a casual player in the VR zone.

You just defeat Molag Bol, but shortly there after a group of mudcrabs or skeevers will kill your ass if you're not careful.

Feels like a pick up a part-me job without pay.

    However, AIN'T GONNA LET THE B@STARDS WIN! V12 or die ( a lot) ;)

Furthermore, unless you are a heavy MMO-er, play the hell out of the 1-50 zones and move on to the next game.

Unless they tone vr down or up the rewards, thats how I am treating it. Still got 2 factions to go and I am enjoying every bit of it

I have to agree. My main is VR2, and I have 2 alts, one for each alliance. I'm really not playing the main because VR is so grindy. I'm having much more fun running each alt through levels 1-50.

even with all the bugs and problems, 1-50 was epic, beautiful and entertaining.

I just plan to level 3 characters to 50 in each faction and move on. I like to play multiple characters and have no desire to play through the same content more than once.

Hopefully by the time I finish that there will be alternate content that is more interesting for obtaining veteran ranks.

There are a couple of ways to approach it...1 character run through all the content for all 3 factions ending at VR12.

3 or more characters experiencing the content separately and levelling them to 50/vr1.

I prefer to do it on one character and am vr6 on my main with 13 days and change. I am taking my time and enjoying the story...
