Campaign Changes: Too Few Long Campaigns

Permafrost
Only one 30 day campaign is a bad idea. A large chunk of your current PvP playerbase specifically avoids the large servers, because even with talented players and supreme coordination, your AoE caps prevent us from killing excessive zergs. If that's the only option, you eliminate the playerbase who came to ESO hoping for a wide variety of combat. It will just be 90 slamming into 90 for the duration.

While I am at it, 3-7 day duration campaigns are not incredibly radical rulesets. If you are going to change things, really spice it up. Don't give us a small number of servers and only let us choose how long we want to get our heads kicked in by zergs without recourse.

I don't see what the campaign durations have to do with this. The only thing that happens at the end of a campaign is that everyone receives some goodies and the leaderboards are reset (the faction scoring as well as the individual player leaderboards). Everyone retains all of their personal AP and their alliance ranks. Keep ownership does not reset. Nothing else changes at all.

I believe his remark was the fact that it is assumed a large number of players would rather be on the 30 day campaign where they don't have to constantly fight there way back up a leader board. Having only one campaign this duration and you cause this server to be highly populated. Add in the fact that AoE's are capped and you make this server undesirable for players who want great fights not zerg warfare.
