What I think the game needs

So I stopped playing for a week or so and now I'm having trouble getting back into the groove. Here's what I think the game needs. Better item management. I log back in and see all the junk in my bags and bank and it's overwhelming. So this is an elder scrolls game, which means you collect lots of stuff. So you would think item management would be a priority. Sure you can buy more bank and bag space, but come on lower the price or increase the default space limits. Or better yet...

...give me a place to call home. Somewhere I can store and sort my stuff. It doesn't have to be player housing, maybe it's just a room at a guild hall or an inn. I hate having to spend time in the bank next to someone's naked fat guy bank alt.

Anyway, my two cents.

Couldn't agree more with OP. I thought the same thing about housing. Doesn't have to be an actual house. Give me a broom closet at least to start.

On a side note I do hope the justice system creates some order in towns. No more naked people spamming magic.

Wow, OP. Way to completely derail your point with a needless comment on the .01 instances of LGBT stuff in the game. You seem to have absolutely no idea what activism is, or that maybe, just maybe, people you'd evidently rather be invisible don't want to be swept under the rug as if they didn't exist.

    Keep your 2 cents.

ESO needs to be shut down for six months and be finished, polished, tested. That, or stop charging subscriptions until it is finished. Right now, it is just not worth $15 a month.

The delay of the console version really proves the point that ESO was, and is, nowhere near ready to be a AAA game.

    Yeah, pretty much.

How dare ZO include gay couples in this game! How dare they show two people of the same gender in a loving, committed relationship! How dare they not have a giant disclaimer in the dialogue saying that this couple's existence completely destroyed the concept of traditional marriage in Vvardenfall!

OP, welcome to 2014. Your homophobia is not welcome here. You might feel more at home in the 1980s.

OP, I fully support your right to be annoyed by the inclusion of stories that go against your moral underpinnings. I even support your right to vocalize your opinion regarding your annoyance. That time I did in uniformed service to the USA was not to ensure that everyone agrees with me. I do not, however, support your use of dismissive and demeaning language. You do yourself and your opinion a disservice by its use.

And to people hating on the OP for expressing his opinion, give it a rest. Not everyone agrees on everything all the time and its a mark of an enlightened mind that they can entertain an idea without embracing it.

The OP is welcome to express his bigoted, uninformed and backward opinion. As you stated, that is what you fought for (thank you for your service, by the way). Thanks to that First Amendment, we are all welcome to point out that the OP's positions are bigoted, uninformed and backward.

The First Amendment's right to free speech does not entail a duty on my part to agree, or even listen. And it does not protect a person from the reprecussions of said speech.

OP is partly correct. There are people who go out of their way to force issues into mmo's that have no business begin there. Any sex preference is not part of gaming lore..its someone with an ax to grind injecting his/her view into the game. For the record anyone who try's to troll chat with attacks on ANY gender preference,racism/race baiting and attacks on people of ANY faith should be baned without warning. All of this has no place in ESO. We play to relax and have fun its all about respect.

Right. Like respecting the fact that gay people exist and have relationships.

The game doesn't "go out of its way" to force issues in the game. It portrays same-sex relationships in a completely matter-of-fact, banal manner. Which is fairly radical in that it doesn't make a big deal out of the relationship, but it's hardly rubbing it in your face.

And sexual preference has been part of Elder Scrolls lore from the moment "The Lusty Argonian Maid" was penned.

I am not sure but I think the O.P. is referring to the quest in 3rd zone? It hints the quest chain ends up with a female same sex relationship.

My question in regard to the inclusion of such would be, is there a precedent in TES lore for it, prior to the release of ESO?

Yes. There is one Fighters Guild quest in Oblivion, among others, where there are strong hints of a homosexual relationship between two knights.
