We know Templars are asking for buf and DK asking to not nurf more and on the other side asking for buff in heavy armor passives.
We know devs cant implement anything drastic or it would just be worst.
I have an idea than can work (or not
) anyway i am posting for a constructive discussion.
Before explaining all these effects are just for a small % going a bit up as more is used.
Soft cap is lowered means you get red more late:)
This is just soft cap changes not stats.
Explanation:
1-As more heavy armor pieces you use the more you lower the sof cap of armor and health (could be a boost of total 1 or 2% as well). And the more you use the more you gain soft cap of magika and stamina (regens and points).
2-As more light armor you use the more your armor and stamina soft cap is gained and more magika and spell power sot cap is lowered
3-As more medium armor the more weapon skills and damage soft cap is lowered and magika regen and spell res is more capped
Numbers and % are to be discussed this is just the idea
Again this are small numbers even a full light or heavy could only have a max of 7% impact.
Example full light (plus 7% lower on soft cap on some things and as well as a 7% soft cap gain on others)
-Now you say this will just make DK mage op. Well no cuz you will have less health and less armor (even using armor skills) Makes it work more as intended
-Will it make Sorcerer op? Well they will have more magika and spell dmg but also less armor and stamina. Also can make up for a Sorcerer full heavy armor more playable as i am yet to see this build often.
-Will also buff the NB and any build having medium armor and melee dmg. Have you seen a Sorc or DK with medium armor? Not a strong build now?
-Templars can have either a more tanky or healing approach.
This is an idea of balancing builds making mix ones more usable.
Sorry for my English
