The trials are a joke as they stand, at this moment. Something needs to be done, to make people actually do the boss fights the way they are supposed to be done. It takes no skill to just heal thru all boss mechanics.

No wonder people have finished a trial in less than 15 min.. How do you call that a raid... I suggest they add for example: The first boss in Hal Ra Citadel, the tornados he summons. If you get hit by the same tornado 3 times in a row you die. That's it as easy as that. I would love to see them heal thru that,..

    They may not call it a raid but it sure acts like one. Just bacause they didnt call it a raid dose not mean is not one.

    TSW dungeons are one of the best I have done. No wasted time with trash because I R Baboon and MMORPG is all about waste time and PQ is da best game of all lolol and the mechanics are also engaging. Sometimes could be more difficult, though.

    I understand most of what he said.
    In TSW (The secret world MMO), the instances in that MMO are really good as they have no trash mobs to kill and just boss after boss and very cool fun fights. I think he is wishing ESO did the same thing.

    He is hassling ESO for following all the other MMO's and putting in time wasters.

    Try to put a pug together of 12 healers and complete HR or AA, please.

    These bosses also have significant enrage timers. I don't think you know what you're talking about. It takes a fairly competent group and coordination to complete after the DK/Ulti nerf (which hurt all classes in PVE)

    If they want to create hard 12man raids, they should take a look at Lotro's Ost Dunnoth and Tower of Orthanc (back when they released not now)

    I dont think he's insinuating that there's a group of 12 healers blowing through this content.

    He's saying that, because basically every class has access to one or more self heals, and that because dedicated healers are able to substantially outheal the incoming damage on the group, the difficulty factor we should be experiencing is bypassed.

    I somewhat agree, but at the same time have no solution that doesnt involve debilitating changes to every class in non-pve content. When you have DPS templars and nightblades using self heals (strife, purifying light, etc.), tanking DK's with spammable dragon blood for constant 33% healing, and then healers that basically never run out of magicka and overheal the incoming damage levels, nobody is really at any risk of death.

    That said, if you remove these self-healing options from each class, or significantly reduce their effectiveness to balance this issue out, you wind up creating a severe problem in pvp - where all that self healing is necessary to survive more than a few seconds among the zerg.

    I never said debuff the classes. or debuff healing in general. what I proposed is implementing mechanics that will make people not always rely on the heals to survive mechanics.
