Henry Ford & ESO

ESO kind of reminds of of that famous quote by Henry Ford about choosing a color for the T Model "you can have any color you want as long as it was black."

Well in this game we can play any way we want as long as it was in light armor with a staff!

As people catch on I wounder what will happen? WoD?

Since I thought exactly the same thing a while back, I would suspect, you said what a lot of people are thinking.

Huh. Wonder how well that model-T thing of his did, anyway?

Is that really the case, or are we just getting an ear full from select cry babies who aren't playing correctly?

Heavy armor, sword and board, DK. I have no problems playing the game.

I'm playing a heavy armor and two-handed character and a second with medium armor and bow, haven't had any trouble so far. So yes, I can play any way I want.
I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

While this may be the case currently for VR12 min/maxers who want to top the trial leader board, it doesn't mean you can't play the game at all with other setups. I'm currently a VR8 NB in medium armor with dual daggers and having a blast.

This is 100% correct only for templars, since they lack magicka regen mechanics.

It's more of the case for anyone who wants to get a group for vet dungeons and trials period.

You may get lucky being unoptimal and finding a group but let me tell you if everyone played that way it would be nearly impossible to complete stuff at high vet levels.

That being the case there, out of interest, do you mind my asking what build you use? Not having a go, or calling you a liar. I do believe you, just looking for hints and tips.
