Please explain the logic to me for i lack the wisdom to understand.

You close this thread:

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/107198/how-soon-until-free-to-play#latest

And this thread:

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/107178/eso-needs-another-year-in-development#latest

And this thread:

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/107118/1-word-for-all#latest

All under the guise of it not being constructive.

Okay, maybe they were not constructive. I'll give you that. I also noticed they were negative towards ZOS and ESO.

Now we have this little gem:

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/106978/enjoying-the-game#latest

Not in the least constructive, but is positive for ESO.

Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with a positive review of ESO if it is constructive, but this clearly is not.

Yet, it stays open.

I don't care if you hate ESO or love ESO, you have to admit this is clearly hypocritical.

Are we really having another one of these threads?

    Really?

When did General Discussion become "my personal appeal of locks" forum?

So... Should they lock this thread too? I'm unsure if this is constructive or not. Clearly there is no raw materials or tools in this thread, but you could be building something figuratively. Creating a metaphor or something.

Hmmm... I have to admit the OP has a point.

Clearly there ought not to be any problem with people expressing positive views on ESO. But, the issue here is it was not something like "I am really enjoying ESO because....., and if you are also enjoying ESO what do you like most"? That sort of thing is fine.

If the reasons for closing those negative threads, was valid, the so ought that positive one. You could have closed it with. "Thank you, we realise and appreciate your support of this game, however, we must ask that you express this in a more constructive form as per our forums rules. We wish you well and look forward to your continued support".

Sorry mods, you got caught out red handed stamping on negative threads, and finding excuses for it.

Perhaps you should put a picture of a hammer in here somewhere to keep the thread open as a hammer is clearly constructive...

The bias may be with the way these non-constructive threads are reported rather than with ZOS directly. While I'm certain people are reporting both the positive and negative biased threads, I'm betting the ones that are negatively biased may be reported in much higher volumes that result in more attention from mods.

If you feel a thread is not being constructive, report it as such and see if the trend continues.

How does the insulting and imflammatory statement you made above contribute in any way to meaningful discussion of the game?

Do you really think it lends credability to your "valid point"?

What do you call constructive and a valid point about this topic,
3 examples of flaming topics which will lead no where and one positive topic in a forum categorie which have 3k topics, with alot of topics that have not been closed which contain to much flame for my taste.

This topic stating the forum devs are intentionaly closing all the negative topics about the game, is that constructive?

First time I saw this kind of post on the forum, right after this pop up: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/107273/zos#latest

Remember my first post in this topics?

You have 5 stars in your profile, one would guess one who is that active in the forum should know what is appropriate and not to start a topic about and not.

Starting a topic based on an opinion, but only accepting similar opinions to be posted, rather then all opinions?

Well again, I only want to know what is constructive and valid about this topic.

I think all of the topics you linked should be closed, though the positive one is refreshing sight on a forum these days, unfortunately. All the positive people stay ingame most of the time.

Not really surprised they favour positive posts over negative ones. It is the official forums. If you want a completly bias free forum you would probobly have to go to some unofficial fan forum. But even there I guess locked posts will depend on mods view of game. Unless its completly unmoderated.
