Right now persuasion and intimidate seem like after thought ideas. They also conflict with lore and immersion.
First off, these two skills offer an awesome benefit. Shouldn't they be skills that you have to work toward, not just gifted through the two existing guilds? They definitely need their own skill line. Maybe they could advance to parley active skills that allow you to talk your way through some conflicts or mobs.
Second, the benefits are great so I use them even though they make no sense for my character. My toon is a skinny, squishy, Breton Healer. It is just stupid that I can intimidate pirates and other thugs. I know I could choose not too but that would mean more god awful vet lvl questing which is what this game needs less of.
