Greetings,

for the first i need to say that i love this Game and have Tons of Fun in there. I am no Fanboy and i know that are Bugs in this Game, like in other Games too.

It is a normal Thing that MMORPGs evolve and they can do this with constructive help from Players/Testers. Not from Players that act like Crybabies because they can't get what they want Ingame.

In the last Time i have read a lot Comments about the Pay to Win or Free to Play Modells. Some Guys call out that this Modells coming soon because the Game sucks for THEM. I dont care about this normaly and think this is the normal BS-Talking from Trolls.

But some of the other Players sounds more serious, says they have better Informations and think that Free to Play comes soon after the Consoles Launch. I dont know if this true but i hate to think that this wonderful Game goes to Free to Play.

My Question to Zenimax or Zos is, goes Teso to Free to Play or stay this Game at Monthly Fee, like it does at the Moment. For me, the Monthly Fee is the best Option, i like this because it gives me more longevity for the Game and more Quallity.

So dont close this Thread please, i have no negative intentions and i only want to know like others Players too, what Options you as the Developer will use in the Future.

MFG Murmeltier.

F2P is not a bad thing. Asuming the licenses allows it, it will propably come eventually.

It is however a management decision based on factors we cannot control or even know.
And there is no way to plan in a phase like "first half year after launch", where the playerbase is notoriously fluctuating. Once the post launch birhtpains get less, they can look at the numbers.

If it goes f2p and wild star becomes a success I will be done with MMOs all together and completely lose faith in my fellow gamers ever having an IQ higher than 5.

    I share your feelings friend.

Yes I think ESO can, will, and should stay as a subscription-based MMO. If at any time in the future ZoS decides to go in a different direction it will most likely be after the expansion and success of the cash shop, and their desire to pursue a revenue stream that is better suited and better able to support and expand the game going forward. It is a common misconception that failed games go f2p because they started out as subscription-based. The truth is that there is a lot which determines which model is more profitable for a given game, but the success of the cash shop, premium currency, and in-game cosmetics are big indicators.

Every week, at least one person will predict/ask when WoW is going F2P because it's "been going downhill for so long", "the game is dying", etc.

I bet there's already talk of WildStar going f2p amongst the doom and gloom part of its fanbase, too .. and it launches, what, today?

I would imagine there's going to be the same s-storm over inevitable launch bugs and glitches, too. As there will be when Warlords of Draenor releases.

I like this game over WoW and Wildstar, and will continue to subscribe to it for as long as I can, and have no issues about doing so.
