Aldmeri Dominion is full of jaundice elves

Despite loving the Altmer in Daggerfall for their immune to paralysis racial, I cannot stand the popularity of them in ESO.

Why must I see AD logos and banners everywhere there are metrics or rankings? What's the appeal in this game?

What I noticed most about the high elves in AD zones is that they never thank you for saving Ayren. Bunchofingrates.

In the DC, you get patted on the back everywhere for saving the king.

First of all the Aldmeri Dominion has three races, not one. While bosmer are not that interesting, Kajiit are.
Second if you pre ordered (explorers pack) you can play every race in every faction. I have an Imperial and a Dunmer in the Dominion. I don't have a single character in the "right" faction.
In short: Don't asume race based on faction.

Aldmer make very powerfull destro staff DPS. With the current favor on magica based abilities for lategame/PvP, it is the obvious choice to have a race with bonus.
Personally I am thinking about rolling a High Elf Strom Caller/Lightning Staff user. Only because it looks like palying a Sith sorc from SWTOR (thier veteran gear is even proper black robes).

It was more a joke being that the main race of the Aldermi Dominion and its high leadership is Altmer.

I am very well aware that anyone can play any race, which leads me moreso to my question of, why the Dominion?

Since you are able to pick any race/class combo and choose your faction freely, people still pick Dominion as numbers show.

It's amusing to non-AD.

If I had to throw a guess (and based on my decisions) I would say:
Easy access to the skimpy bosmer clothing (Style book, Style materials, loot9 for female characters. Plus two areas full of bosmer in skimpy clothing.

What the bosmer lack in combat power, they do make up in crafting style.

I mean from the Racial passives.
Even for the free Skill Line passive, the bow bonus is not that good.
Resistance vs Posion and Disesae is only interesting for WW. And even then only if you don't reach hardcap alredy (likely with lategame).
And you get the Stealth bonus earlier as Kajiit
Stamina regen and max stamina are capped stat too.
When playing a stealth or Stamina DPS character, I would always favor the Kajiit.

So I do like my fanatic anti-vegetarians in skimpy armor.
Just when choosing one as race from a pure effectiveness point of view the Catgirls are stealling them the show.
