Try not to break your neck, getting off your high horse.
Actually, a lot of MMOs have single player elements you can group for. There's a storyline and all associated with them. Except in certain regions, because of the ability to skip, it's harder to cooperate on those elements.Every game has those people who try to play a MMO as a single player RPG and enjoy the experience.
Well, their grouping setup was mentioned as a problem in beta... they seem bent on sticking to it.ESO's MMO elements are what let a lot of us down, and the constant nerfcoaster coming from these idiotic devs doesnt help.
Well at least we can see the flowers now; that is definitely a plus. As for reading books in-game it's fun to a point but can get to be tough challenging at times especially when hostiles are near by and re-spawn quickly.Oh here we go again. The only proper way to have fun and play the game correctly is to read all the books and smell all the flowers.

I *have* experienced them and they suck enough to me that I cant be assed to bother with something not fun.
Problem is, that means Im locked out of new content until I pick up the ball and leave, or pull up the big boy pants and just deal with the misery.
I wonder what percentage of players at VR5 through VR12 haven't bothered to do Cadwell's quest? That would be an interesting stat to see.
I'm VR12 Tamriel Hero (1000+ quests completed) and I still like the game. I pvp most of the time now, work on my crafting/gear, run dungeons and am enjoying getting some achievements (I want dyes). I read 80% of the quests the first time through, but I am reading and listening to all of them on my alt.
I was fortunate to have leveled before they screwed the VR difficulty in the Craglorn patch. Many things (solo dungeons, quest areas, etc) I cleared when leveling, I can't even do at VR12 now, so I really feel for the people leveling through it right now.

I wallowed in the misery you speak of for nearly 2 weeks after hitting VR1. Barely logged in except to check researches or feed the horse. Run a few quests, go ugh and log out. Come *** on the forums. Took me 3 weeks to get to 50. Caught me at a time when I had lots of play time and I constantly could not wait to see what was next. Took me 2 more to get VR2 because of this.
Last couple of days it's been a lot better tho since I've had what's amounted to a two week break from serious play. I think the first 50 levels are so easy and so easy to inhale if you put the time and effort in that when it does slow down in the VRs it just hits you wrong. You aren't just getting hit with a change in difficulty and the time it takes to advance, but you are also probably a little burned out on questing having just done so much to get there. Then the brain considers consciously or unconsciously that you have twice as much as you just did ahead of you and in the factions that you specifically didn't choose at that and the game gets rather un-fun rather suddenly.
But laying back and taking kind of a break totally recharged my batteries for the veteran levels. Little over halfway thru VR2 just from my last two play sessions. A couple of curb stompings from healers or multiple range npcs in 3 packs aside, it's been really fun. And I say that as a Bow/DW stamina NB. I do admit, the slowness of training points now really sucks. To me, that's worse than the levelling speed.
You may just need a break and come back fresh to have more fun.

I've been leveling alts.
Every time I log into one of my VR characters I groan, and log back out.
And those two? DK and Sorc.
It doesn't help that I can't friggin stand DC content.

Wait, there are achievements linked to Dyes? Or is this just pure speculation?

Really? I found DC content almost as good as ADs.
I thought EB was the faction with the trully lame quests.
Hehe it is really hard to please everyone.

Dyes will be linked to achievements.
They already said it.
