Philanthropy how to spread the wealth?

I would like to solicit some thoughts on end game philanthropy. There comes a time when surrender is the only real option left. Let me be perfectly clear this is not any kind of critique of the games design. If I had a choice I would continue to play, but it has become for all intents and purposes impossible. One cannot continue to play a game that crashes constantly.

An issue I have had more then my fair share of since launch, and to be honest after two months if the problems are still persisting they are probably going to be around for the duration. I personally can't handle the frustration, and frankly my hardware probably can't keep going through this. So there isn't a realistic choice except to lament the sad state of affairs and move on.

Anyway I am of the opinion that if I have to go. I might as well go out in style. So I am planning to donate my virtual goods to other players. Before anyone makes the joke about giving the stuff to them. I am not offering it to anyone here. I just wanted to know how you personally would go about dispersing your stuff if you were in my shoes.

Would you just give it to a friend you think might stay, or would you just run around performing random acts of charity. If it helps to clarify things any there is like no real chance I would ever come back. It isn't a matter of a grudge. I simply choose not to join into established games. I feel a need to be at the front of the pack. Rather then being in the middle. So there is no point in suggesting that I leave a door open.

If I were you, I would turn it into a game. Go into a zone and play a scavenger hunt where you are the thing to be found. Offer something crazy as the prize. "10 Tempering Alloys to the first person who finds me!" Then offer some cryptic riddle as to where you are or some vague hint. Be sure to blend in via emotes or something like that. Get creative with it.

You could ask a trivia question alternatively. But in the age of the Internet, that won't be as fun because it will ultimately come down to whoever searches wikipedia the fastest.

You could play a game of Simon Says in a town hub. Through /say and emotes. "Dodece says play the lute"...Everyone plays..."Play dead"...Some play dead. "Dodece didn't say..." Then the ones who did the wrong action lose out. Last person left standing gets the prize whatever it is. You could do multiple rounds of this.

You could pretend to be a begger, roleplaying and asking for 1 gold. First person to be charitable and give you 1g instead gets a massive outpouring of epic items and gold...whatever you feel like giving.

You said you wanted to go out with a bang.
