I have 8 chars. One is fairly new and is just space, my poor level 4 Nord in Stonefalls.
I have as fighters, main quest and aimed at PvP, 4 mains. 2 Sorcs, a DK and an NB.
I have as crafters my level 12 Argonian Templar, my cook, a level 14 Orc Sorc Blacksmith and a level 10 Wood Elf NB.
My Altmer Witch at level 25 is a powerful but fragile Vampire Sorc. She is very deadly and punches well above her level. She dies a bit too easily if it gets crazy. She does boodsucking, intimidation in the newbie area she lives in and both of my Clothing and Woodworking. She has a level 50 Imperial, 50 26 1, horse, the 48/49 numbers are strange. The nice saddle blanket.
My Imperial DK in Daggerfall is level 18 and a bit neglected right now. He is fairly a classic sword&board tanky type. A level 31 Imperial Horse. That's where you get the fancy stuff on it's ass.
My Kajiit NB in the Altmer Dominion at level 16 is just starting to rock. I am starting to get almost good with him now. My understanding has grown by leaps and bounds, well, mainly because my son can do NB really well and I pay attention when we go play.
My main, I finally decided after playing for quite a bit. My level 26 Dunmer Sorc Fire Mage. I like Battlemages and he is gonna be one. He came from nothing to pass every one in a week or so.
The real power in this little army does not rest with the fighters. My enchanter and provisoner are the real smack, with the weapon and armor makers right behind. The food I can make allows quite big swings from balanced builds as you can increase, at my Dunmers level, any of the 3 numbers by almost 200 for 35 minutes. I make lots of these foods and no one wants for them. My enchanter can take a set of armor and add a similar or better amount of any number most of the time. I still suffer a bit from supply issues. My weapons nearly always use the 'increase enhancement' trait and can be buffed strongly as well.
My weapon and armor crafters outfit every fighting char with all new every even level and a lot of that is green and there will be several blue items as well.
This gives me a steadily increasing power base. My VR1 son is still using the bow I gave him for his 50th and he does appreciate the food and drink I send him. I get back lots, especially glyphs he does not want are valuable for leveling my enchanter, a glacial task.
My fighters are so strong anything their own level is like cheating, my level 25 witch feeds on level 28 NPCs because it's effortless and there is a nice patch of them in northern Grahtwood. The problem is sometimes separating them and she can kill one almost instantly then run away from the other, till it gives up, then go feed. Even my level 12 Templar just cruised the tests, Gutsripper, Doethia, etc and I am not great at Templars.
My army is my fighter's biggest strength, and it is growing steadily.
I got an army. How about you?
