Vague patch notes

spliffmaster2b16_ESO
It would be considerably easier for everyone to understand and give feedback about the patches if the patch notes weren't so incredibly vague.

Examples
Flame Talent: Ranks II and III of this passive ability now provide the correct amount of spell damage bonus to fire attacks.
What was the amount of spell damage that was provided before?
Bat Swarm: This ability’s tooltip now matches the ability’s actual duration.
So what is the actual duration?
Blazing Spear (Spear Shards morph): Moderately increased this ability’s damage over time.
*Sigh*... numbers?

If you load up the game you can see the actual numbers. Numbers for abilities can be altered by any number of modifiers including your resource pool, your level, the skill's level, skill passives, mundus stones, etc. The chart for a simple change like that would be monstrous if they took into account every possible variation.

Many of the changes can't be looked up in game such as the old values of Flame Talent. And what would be monstrous about adding 5s->7s to the patch notes or 10% increased base damage or damage coefficient instead of "moderately increased".
Have you ever read DotA/LoL patch notes or any of the Blizzard games? There is no reason to keep that information hidden.

They do not need a chart. Every skill has a base number that is then modified by other things by a certain coefficient. Making these numbers visible to all can only increase the amount of productive feedback (well probably the negative too but whatever) that players can give because they can more easily test certain conditions. As it is now without extreme testing it is hard to tell how well a skill scales because there is Base + (X * Stam/Magicka pool) + (Y * Spell/Weapon dmg). The more information they give the better the feedback we can give. Fill in the darn numbers for us so we can help test out the variables and don't make us rely on old posts or old logs to find out information you should have posted.
