Add-On For Custom Clothing or Exotic Clothing.

Is this possible at the moment? I'm guessing no. Would you guys like to have an add-on that could give you a custom look? Maybe an add-on that would give females skimpy clothing? I always see this kinda thing on the Beth boards for regular TES. Surprised I haven't seen it here yet. That's one thing I miss seeing is all the picture threads from the Beth boards. People always would post some interesting pictures. It was fun to see all the weird stuff people would come up with.

Personally I kinda liked my khajiit early on. He looks neat without a shirt.

There can not be addons like that. We not allow to change texture files. That is a way for one to cheat. That is why all add-ons are UI only. Sorry

There have been some threads here before on more revealing clothing. I'm all for Khajiit & Argonian races showing more because they have cool looking fur/skin. Plus you would think their hides would be thicker than other races.

I could see some of the human/elf races having more revealing clothing as well. A bare chested Nord would make sense. Trouble is how far do you take it. As much as I like looking at a thong on a hot Breton, I'm not sure I really want to see one in battle.

At early levels there are more revealing light armor pieces. Maybe some more stuff like that would work.

Well , like said above , i dont think it is possible with what zen allows currently.

Still , even if they did give more permissions , an addon like this would like usual only affect the player.

So what you saw and what others saw would not be the same.

I'd rather have that than nothing at all though.

They can't isolate textures like that.

As long as it only changed client side texturesI don't see why it would be a big deal. Nobody else has to see my knights of the nine crusader armor as long as the textures on my client reflect those to me.

They can, actually. Would require modifying client side files, tho. It's been done for TERA (yes, for some people those armors weren't revealing enough). Not sure how Zenimax would feel about that, tho, best to ask them first, I'd say.

I will like to show more of my fur for my Khajiit and scales for my Argonian, too.

For everyone to see it then everyone would have to have the same modification. The reason it is problematic is that sometimes textures made by the gamers give an unfair advantage in certain situations. Some WoW issues spring to mind when there were some textures used to make certain NPCs more noticeable and thus allow the person with those textures to have an advantage.

There were lots of PC textures around. However it could get you in trouble. Modifying anything other that the PC would definitely get one in trouble.

I do not think this will happen. I would like to see more in the costume area or being able to use armor as costumes (without stats) like Rift has for example.

That is why we, the fans, can not do make textures, but we can ask ZOS for more armor textures / looks.
