I tried, I really did but there were just so many things that added up to meh.
For future reference: New 'features' aren't always better. What you should have done was consider and list all the things that made other games great, and all the things that made other games bad. That should have been the starting point.
The problem for me was that the sheer volume of irritants just added up while there just wasn't enough new and shiny to make me want to stay.
Crafting was close, but I expected better than what I've seen before in other games. Where was the jewellery for enchanters? why was enchanting so much harder than provisions? I was level 50 provisions in 4 days ... there was just so much material and recipe... but enchanting?? If there was a way to make potions for between levels I never found it. Level 10, 20, 30, 40... wtf: Basic search functions for guild stores and don't get me started on the problem of trying to find a great guild that compliments my style using in-game tools... one zone chat shall rule them all... Werewolves was fun, but the content for WW was just... meh. What was the end-game advantage / disadvantage?
Overpowered PvE bosses, unforgiving and very expensive re-spec tool (all or nothing? really? I don't want to have to go to university to learn character builds... i want to try, and then undo, and try again...)...
Only four character classes? really? shared bank... really?
Yeah.. the whole thing.. just ... meh. I can get that for free in a bunch of other free to plays...
So long ... can't wait for next single player Elder Scrolls ... I might come back and visit when this one goes free to play... but after 60 days, just not loving it enough for 15/month when there's just so many other options to choose from.
