Dear ZOS,

SMALL REQUEST FOR PATCH NOTES BE STRONGER (DESCRIPTIVE LIKE) WHEN COMMUNICATING VALUE CHANGES. THIS TRUE ESPECIALLY WITH CLASS CHANGES. EXAMPLE FROM LATEST PATCH:

Combat & Gameplay
General
  • Vampire Nightblades can no longer stealth and feed on boss monsters during combat.
  • Reduced the ultimate gain on all critical strikes to 1 from 3. :) ME LIKE!!! VALUES GOOD!

Dragonknight
Earthen Heart
  • Magma Armor: Reduced the duration of this ability. :(IT WOULD BE BETTER LIKE THIS: "Reduced duration of this ability from X to X"
Ardent Flame
  • Standard of Might: Reduced the damage bonus and damage reduction of this ability. :(SAME THING HERE... IF "from X to X" NO WORK, THEN MAYBE "by X%" WORK... ME NO CARE AS LONG AS VALUE IS COMMUNICATED

    You are asking for a lot here. I would just be happy if the patch notes actually contained all the major changes.

    For example, the stealth biting jabs nerf in the craglorn patch was not in the notes, and added a 2 second GLOBAL cooldown (which Zen promised would never be added to the game), essentially made the skill and instant suicide button. Pretty much every VR templar that logged in after the patch died to the first mob they fought.

    that was not why we logged in and died. After the mob bug was fixed, the stat one, I had no issue wit the change other then it feeling a bit clunky. 1.2sec is not 2sec.

    • We didn't do anything to the amount of ultimate gained from critical strikes because we plan to have an open discussion with our players about it first.

    at first I was thinking that this is a long shot, but I recall many-a-patch note from funcom for all their games, where they gave specific numbers for skill changes. sadly, they too suffered from ninjapatch-itis, but specifics reveal organization of thought and teamwork on the developers end, so bump for this, even if I barely play anymore.

    I'm pretty sure whoever writes the patch notes was also in charge of the tooltips for skills/morphs, as they have the same kind of vague description.
