VR12 PvP Sets vs Crafted

I am about to hit VR12 and will probably only PvP at that point. I have been trying to decide what type of equipment to invest in/work on. First question I have......are the PvP sets better than crafted sets? Can PvP sets be enchanted?

Also in researching the PvP sets it looks like its possible to have 2, 5 set bonuses. For example, I was toying with this set up (DK 2H weapon and destro staff).....

Heavy Armor - Ravager Set 6pc, Chest, Neck, Legs, 2 rings, 2H Sword
Light Armor - Buffer of the Swift 5pc, Feet, Hand, Head, Shoulders, Waist

Does this make any sense?
