Hah, yeah I had the same reaction. Not to mention that Craglorn was expected to be playable by launch and a lot of people were upset that it didn't come out sooner even.

Many people unrealistically expected a new game which logically already is providing new content, I mean new game=new stuff right? To expect a 'new' zone to be out at launch is unrealistic. My comment should not be funny. It should make you angry that it was the focus and not fixing current game issues.

You are aware that different teams probably work on new content and bug fixes, right?
I unsubbed last night. I will list my reasons why here since Zenimax has no sub cancellation survey like every other MMO out there who is concerned about losing customers. This really baffles me. I mean customer retention is NOT a goal with this company.
This is not a goodbye since I still have 2 months left on my sub. Yes I foolishly purchased 3 months. Lesson learned. This is my reasoning as to why this game has lost this customer and why it will continue to lose more players.
Anyhow, my list:
- Lack of communication
- Poor patch implementation-fix bugs that create more bugs. Yes this is to be expected but by no means is acceptable on the scale in which this occurs with this game.
- Class Balance
- Poor Marketing-Shoving Craglorn in our faces, stating we can play the classes how we want (which while not neccesarily untrue, to be successful at solo/group play you need to primarily stick with staff/magicka builds).
- Botting programs and Exploits not being fixed in a more timely manner- the dupe exploit was a known issue well before launch and is ultimately the rock that started the landslide known as our broken economy.
- Poor Guild Store functions or lack of an Auction House
- Lack of communication in regards to the above issues as to a plan of action other than the obligatory 'we are monitoring it' or my favorite 'keep an eye out for it in an upcoming patch'.
I really wanted this game to be wonderful. Something full of Elder Scrolls lore and depth like the single player games. Something I could share with my friends, family, guildmates. Something that would entertain me for a long time.

Look, you aren't the only person who plays the game. There's a hardcore PvE crowd too that wanted to know exactly what endgame PvE would be like before buying the game. Adventure Zones (like Craglorn) were described as that endgame PvE for some time yet no details were given and it ended up not being available at launch. It was essentially an MMO without endgame content for PvEers so that needed to be rectified quickly before those PvEers started getting to max level en masse, or they'd end up with another SWTOR.
I'm not even one of these PvEers. I could care less about Craglorn specifically. If it came out 6 months from now I'd be fine. But I can at least look at the bigger picture and realize that my concerns are not everyone's concerns.
So yes, the fact that you complained that they added endgame PvE content that was supposed to be available at launch is humorous to me. I pretty much don't agree with anything in your list actually, hence why I have no intention of cancelling and you're already on your way out. To each his own.
