Maintenance - Is it a weekly event?

I am new to this game, though I have owned it for five months, only activated it last night, was going to play tonight, and we have maintenance... feels like WoW.

Is this a weekly thing? Is there a schedule?

It happens 2-3 days a week for about 3 hours each time.

Thanks, twice a week, in Australian peak times, nice. Ohh well, part of the MMORPG these days.

Though I was a little worried when I read what they do -- "hardware upgrades" ..... It's a new game, did they not use new hardware!!!

They add the smaller bugs during regular maintenance and then add the hives and nests in during the patches to make sure they keep breeding.

It seems we are getting Maintenance every 2 - 3 days now.

there was unplanned maintenance this weekend due to resetting the servers but that only took 1h. I rather have them doing maintenance everyday for 1h and fix the bugs then doing it twice a week and taking 5h each tbf.

I thought the NA maintenance days were announced as Tuesday and Thursday.... Umm today is Monday right?

That's what I've said elsewhere, don't pay attention to the days as they're usually wrong. They're random.

That was changed a couple/few weeks back. An announcement was made about the change.

The downtime is variable, sometimes its just 1 hour other as much as 5, probably depend on the size of changes and how much testing is needed after patching.
