Skip starting areas (second character after hitting 50 with first)

How about some kind of leveling Stone item for those of us who hit 50 and do the story quest so we can make an alt and get insta 25 to avoid the bots and re-doing the starter zones? A lot of games do this once you have a char at this level and as long as it is earned this way it would not be available to the bots.What does everyone else think?

You can already skip the "starting areas" of the Wailing Prison and the introductory islands. Now you want to skip the first thing after that too? What next....the area after that one as well? Why not just make your next character automatically max level so you can just do the content for that level since you don't seem to have any interest in actually playing the game.

Jog on Troll I asked a legit question. I invested a lot of time in my VR 12 NB and started another char but I'm now just doing the same old stuff again. Usually in an MMO you can choose different starting areas.I have an interest in playing the game I spent my money and my time and still play but when you reach "end game " and can't get a party either have to re-roll or quit the game. Your comment is an assumption i don't want to play when clearly I do.

So the botterss will just exploit one character to VR rank, and then have free Access to fill up the 25+ areas With bots too?? NO THANKS!!!!

I really don't think botters would get to VR rank to do this as it is way to much time invested for what they are after

because bots care about time investment?

never underestimate bots/hackers - where there's a will, there's a way.

What will this solve exactly?
The botters will just level to max rank and then create level 25 bots instead.

And seriously, the game has been out for a mere 2 months and people want to skip content already.

So if the VR content wasn't the same I could happily have gone and started on a new area that would be fine but I have a Vr12 a lvl 32 and a lvl 18 and it is all the same stuff nothing new no new zone to explore as they forced me to allready do the other factions Quests and areas. I Have done the stuff and have not skipped i just asked for thoughts but all the replies are about me "not playing and skipping stuff" The bott stuff i agree with it could make them move up to higher areas but as the first reply to this post shows the forum mentality, you read the title and then start to add stuff that you think I would then want and that i don't want to play the game is just Ignorant. You don't know how many chars I had til i told you yet you think i have 1 and that's it. I mention skipping starting zones and you then add i want those and the next ones skipping, when I asked what do you guys think about it to lvl 25.

LOL but this game basically rolls the credits once you hit max level, like YOU HAVE BEAT THE GAME, GOODBYE

pay to buy the game then pay to leave the game, good idea

WoW starts at max level, ESO ends at max level

He didn't disagree with me he took part of what i said and added his own thing he wanted me to say and elaborated on that. He never gave his opinion on the topic just on me and what he thought i would like next after what the topic spoke about

This is the problem with "gamers" today. You guys would much rather have crap handed to you than play the damn game.

For the record I don't disagree with nerfs on leveling content after a game has been out a considerable amount of time and has had several expansions. WoW is a perfect example of that sort of practice actually. Warlords of Draenor is about to bump up the level cap to 100. Let's ignore the fact that WoW does have paid level 90 characters available for $60. How long do you think 1-100 would take if 1-60 wasn't nerfed? What about 60-70 for the portion of the game that takes place during The Burning Crusade? 70-80?

WoW vets are some of the most vocal and hard to please people out there. You can't go a single day on the forums without someone complaining that leveling is too fast. However let's look at how many players it's had over the years. In many MMO's it's said that the real game begins at endgame. Do you really think WoW would have grown as large if new players in say perhaps Wrath of the Lich King had to take months on end just to do 1-60 and STILL had another 20 levels to go just to catch up to their friends and/or reach the "real" portion of the game? Besides guess who typically doesn't complain about leveling speed being too fast in an MMO? I'll give you a hint: it's not the vets that already have at least one character at level cap.

Right now I'm level 41 on my main and still enjoying every minute of ESO. Leveling pace feels perfect to me. I can understand wanting to level an alt and being annoyed at the amount of time it takes but relax guys: I've no doubt that if ESO sees several expansions that the early portions will see slight nerfs. There's also the fact that if you're doing an alt in the same faction that it won't take nearly as long: you'll have better knowledge of the game, what quests are the most efficient for leveling quickly, ect (something that many WoW players always seem to forget about when they want to start one of their rants about how long leveling use to take and why it was better)

Also don't forget about the Pledge of Mara if you've got an Imperial Edition. Me and one of my RL friends saved ours for alts. I've used mine on our Dominion alts and he'll likely be using his on a pair of Covenant or Pact alts.

Finally at the risk of sounding elitist: if you're going to complain and say you should be allowed to skip X levels of content just because you have a max level character then please don't. Just go ahead and uninstall ESO. While you're at it uninstall all MMO's you may have on your PC because frankly if your first thought is that you want to skip a large portion of content then MMO's aren't for you.
