A passive that halves damage at 50% health and below is just incredibly valuable.
They may have nerfed vamp to the point where the abilities themselves now are crap (why would I use bat swarm now when for less cost I can use Overload or some other better ultimate).
But the strength of vampires besides the ultimate was never the active abilities. It was the passives. Undeath, better sneaking speed, and 10% increased regen for stamina and magicka is just huge.
The truth is being a vampire will never cost me using my incredibly powerful Storm Astronach (super tank pet+aoe stun+ 5k total damage channel on target) or my Suppression Field's 11.5 sec AoE stun/silence.
While werewolf will always come at the cost of: despawning my twilight matriarch or any other summons/toggles, not renewing critical surge, and most importantly not having my other ultimates in use.

smercgames_ESO✭✭✭Pretty sure Undeath still doesn't work.
I fought my first WW 1v1. I beat him BUT it was one heck of a fight. Guy had me feared/stunned every time my cc immunity went down. I only won because I caught him right after fighting 2.5 mobs (1 was still hitting him to start) and I got a stealth attack off. I was VERY surprised when he transformed.. it was pretty awesome though. They do need some buffs though like the ultimate being way reduced.0
