Honestly I could have done so much better.
$60 could have bought me a real game.
$30 for 2 month sub could have bought me something better
$14 for that stupid Horse that I bought to have an edge on PvP which is boring as ***, turned out useless.
$104 bucks thrown in the garbage.

Never buying anything with the names Zenimax or Bethesda on it again.

Depends on how many folks transfer to the console versions for $20 (which also includes a free month, so really only $5). Z/B really wants you to do that, they really do.

So how many games you currently have sitting on a shelf, un-played and gathering dust. Add ESO to the pile and move on, if you are not having fun.

I can't add it to the pile because its digital even if I could I'd throw it out because I only keep games not garbage.

When I bought the game on PC for $60, it came with a free month. I would not say the game was only $45 dollars, the month comes with the game purchase so the game was $60 and came with a month.

The digital copy will be $20 for anyone who bought it on PC, and they will get the month included with the game purchase. You can't knock $15 off the price just because something is included with the purchase. That's scam logic.

If they can't get the numbers rising prior to console release, the exodus to consoles will pretty much force them into F2P for the PC version, I fear.

Consoles sell more copies. Maybe they don't care about the PC numbers. Just look at other games like Call of Duty. The console versions get most of the attention. This game on PC is like a Gamma test. You know, the Greek letter after Beta. Then consoles will get to Delta test it.

So, if Z/B did NOT include a month of sub time for the $20, then how much would it cost in real money to transfer and play a month? Answer: $35

Your logic only works if you count the month of game time as being of zero value. I can assure you, if it was not included, it would have true value. Therefore, its inclusion DOES have value.

If you doubt that, try getting a high-ticket item, with a high-ticket 'freebie' included and then not paying the tax on the free item because it has no real value because it was 'included' in the base price. Won't work.

So, not a scam. Just an incentive and a good deal for folks that want to move over to the console version.

This game uses "Hero Engine" they don't have control how many bugs are patched in a timely manner because most likely they have to use a 3rd party. It's like a kid using Rpgmaker to make a game at home. But the kid can't solve bugs that originated in Rpgmaker.

First, consider that the subscription cost is lower for people who choose to pay for more months at once. Then consider that you are only getting the console discount after making a PC purchase. The discounts are given after some type of original game purchase. They don't just knock money off the price of the original for you, but after the original is bought, you might get other things at a discount price. The first payment you made was for the full amount of the game. And what is the game exactly? It's pretty much a subscription to content, just like every other game. No one ever owns the rights to any game they purchase, they only buy a physical copy as a user. In this case, the user agreement is not unlimited like other games, and must be renewed monthly. If I buy a game that expires in a month, then what am I left with? Nothing. I didn't buy a game, I bought access to content.

Oh boy, here we go again with one of you people...Speak for yourself guy..Your thoughts and opinion on the game are just that, an opinion. I am enjoying every penny I have spent in this game so far. I'm loving it and even despite being fasly banned and taking 2 days for them to resolve the problem I still love this game. Its still new and just like any new mmo of this caliber its going to have bugs. But the percentage of people that dislike this game is nothing compared to the amount of people that actually enjoy it.

I cannot wait till all the trash and naysayers leave this game. Well... leave the forums mostly because I hardly ever see people complaining durning the game.

    hmm,

62 days of owning the game I've played for 294 hrs.

Thats 4 hrs 45 mins every day.

Very very very worth the money to me even if I decided that after 62 days I've had enough.

What other entertainment can I buy for the price of the sub, that gives me nearly 5 hrs of play every single day.

I am loving this game and I find PvP to be some of the best fun I've had in ages (usually I'm not a fan of PvP games), some of the PvE quest lines are jaw droppingly superb.

I get that some people may find this game isn't for them, what I don't get is those that have given up on it or think it's a total failure continuing posting doom and gloom threads every 5 mins on here.

Everytime someone puts up a poll and one of the options say "already unsubbed", people pick that option.

If it was a game you had played and fell in love with for a few years and you felt the direction changing, I could understand it, but a game not quite 2 months since the official release, if you dont like it, go play something else.

All that is happening is the same few people like me who are sick of posts such as yours (nothing at all you like, really?) are saying we love it, others who have left are saying they hate it. The same few posters on either side are voting in all the polls and this place is getting a very depressing place to visit.

Meanwhile most happy players such as everyone else in my guild dont even bother reading anymore yet alone posting.

I really think that only subscribed players should be able to post becsuse this doom and gloom is making this a vile place.

I read your post and looked at your profile to check out some of your other posts and I am so thankful you are leaving as with an attitude like that, the less people like you the better.

Heres a couple of your discussion titles

April 16th All roads lead to F2P
May 15th Angry customers only, express why so angry

and heres a few of your comments from the last 3 days in different threads.

Game is going to shutdown or f2p soon why waste time.
    SHUT IT DOWN!
This game is over there's no possible way to calibrate all this stuff before losing all the subs.
What a joke... The game is riddled with issues.
