Is ESO what you wanted or expected in an MMO and TES Release?

Don't think we've seen a poll on this, so thought I'd add one. Making it anonymous, because IMO the results look too clunky otherwise.

By the very nature of this question, the answers will vary widely, so thought I'd add an option to show each voter's preferred style of play. Please feel free to post qualifications in regard to your votes.

IMO, there's a lot to like about the game, but one major area of improvement I'd like to see is the grouping aspect: Enable grouping (or at least cooperative two-person play) where currently solo-only instancing is available (without eliminating the ability to solo the instances).

It's pretty much what I expected from an MMO version of TES.
It's not what I would have love the game to be, but I also don't think the game I would have loved to see is plausible or marketable to people outside of the hardcore sandbox style players (I wanted EVE Online with TES. :P ).

Even though I don't have time to be hardcore anymore it is just the kind of game I was looking for. I was looking for an mmo with a huge world, tons go do, plenty of lore, where I could create a character that relates to me. The bugs and problems are exactly what I was expecting from an Elder Scrolls MMO.

Been on since the last month of beta and have yet to be bored which us not something I can say about any other MMO

Yes I think it blends TES with MMO quite nicely. However I think the PvP is poorly designed (far to big, lacks strategy, and too little action). I am bothered by the hacking, exploiting, and completely ruined economy, but what ruins it for me is the complete lack of class and stamina/magicka build balance.

Fundamental design issues for all the traditional MMO-ish components to the game, while the traditional TES components are well done.
End the tedious inventory management game.

Yeah, don't think that would have gone over with the masses. :D

That stated, don't see anything wrong with ESO setting up a pure PvP, no holds-barred server for those who prefer that style of play.

    Expected 'Yes'; wanted 'No'.

I have had a lot of suprised so far some good, some bad, but i have not been bored one bit. Sometimes tired of things not working like i would like but you can't always be lucky.

I have lots of fun and love exploring and crafting.

    Same for me.

Polls need to be better worded in most cases in these forums.

Definitely NOT what I expected. Who'd have thunk in an MMO there was but a single way to reach level 50? Questing single player content. And did I mention questing single player content? LOL.

My apologies for the poll's shortcomings ... its often difficult to anticipate all possible choices.
