I'd say this, if there's anything that can spice up the increasingly stale feeling of taking and defending keeps, and watching the zerg go back and forth, its fighting around choke points. This is where some of the most epic PvP takes place because you have all kinds of different PvP around these areas - zergs against zergs, small skirmishes, gank squads, you name it. All classes and build types come into play here.
@ZOS please disregards the topography presented in the original ES game (Oblivion) and create some more choke points in Cyrodiil. On the transitus lines between keeps, add some dense wooded areas which funnel players through narrow passages, set up more river crossings (even rope bridges will do), add some gorges where small groups can gank well, add some various constructions here and there where people can do battle around (old ruins and stuff like that) etc.
