Nightblades...Swords, Maces, Axes?

I've always stuck with daggers for the crit and you know, daggers, backstab, stab stab!...I rarely see people dual wielding anything else in PvP, or I don't notice it. Are axes worth it for the bleed? Swords extra damage worth anything? I had a little issue last night with a heavily armored dk, would maces have helped? The bonuses for the other weapons don't look great to the 5% crit from daggers.

I can make some nice axes and maces, but not sure if it's even worth it. I would say I should just switch weapons using that outfitter mod, but I am always in combat in Cyrodiil

I generally use swords myself, but that's mainly because wielding a dagger whilst holding a shield looks wierd (yes i'm one of those nightblades)

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking I might try out some axes. Most trouble I've had is from other Nightblades and I don't want to slot blood craze. The bleed would keep them out of stealth. My crit would still be 40%ish.

crit is nice, but i prefer the raw damage of swords.

maces, don't feel too attractive to me, as armor penetration is pointless in PVP. (we GET an extra 300 free in cyrodiil)

axe bleed effect doesn't stack if you use two, but still works if you've got another weapon to go with it.

Well I've tried some axes and they are not bad. Got a bleed on another nightblade and it was nice trying to watch him stealth. The bleed damage is so bad though, I don't think the damage, or extra crit is worth giving up.

Trying swords next ^^

forget dw, get something else instead. Resto staff is so much better.
