Power Level

I play the game since day 1. Just two days ago I have hit VR1. I did every quest, dungeon and cleared all the zones of my first alliance (AD). Put a lot of hours and effort in the game, got my craftings up, etc.

After they botched up the achievements, and I found a lot of quests bugged in Reaper's March and Coldharbour, to play the game properly really got disheartening for me. So I spent the last 2 days in Crow's Wood grinding. And I got VR2 already and tons of money/materials. Seems much more rewarding than spend 1 hour in a quest, talking to all NPCs and enjoying the story to the end a bug happens and I have to drop the quest and do all again.

All that's left for me is my guild and get to max level for PVP, questing definately is a turn off for me right now. So I saw this guy on zone chat saying you can get VR10 in one day, people including I asked him how he said google. Whilst too good to be truth I saw myself the effects on grinding in Crow's Wood, something I never done before in any game. I googled but only saw redirects to gold selling sites and bot programs. I have no interest in those. I can afford 2 hours a day to run like a maniac in Crow's so I'm looking for some legit advices here.

I don't think that's a cheat, so I have no idea why the guy held up the secret. Hopefully the community will be more helpful. Where is this heaven you can level up so fast?

There is no such heaven as vr1-vr10 in 1 day, but farming anomalys in a 20 man group in craglorn is about the closest you can get now

There are a few ways to power level VR levels but 1day seems a little crazy. Although apparently on release there were some ways to do it absurdly fast.

As Psychoke said Craglorn is the best place to do this right now, there are also some other bosses or just hitting the important areas/quests in the VR zones.

If you're only just hitting VR1 though I would imagine you're the kin of player who takes time, reads quests and adventures around zones. I would warn you that being higher level than a zone makes that VERY boring, playing entire zones with no loot and only quest experience really makes the zones feel like a drag (more than some of them already are).

I know but I feel like I wasted a lot of time being a proper player because the bugs were so gaming breaking it killed the immersion for me. So now my only interest is get to VR12 asap so I can stop sucking and dragging with my guild pvp group.

He's most likely referring to one of the exploits there are, which I won't mention because I don't condone them.

Here's a nice farm area a friend of mine did. Made lot of gold but his XP gain was pretty sweet. Though it's a little under V1

@oxylus That sucks, I have no interest in exploits. The levelling style in Crow's Wood is more or less what I'm looking for. I saw myself how fast it goes whilst I manually waste my time to grind there and figured that it would have another better place.

@ipkonfigcub18_ESO Thanks for the advice. I seem a guy in zone chat looking for DPS to his grind group, in his annoucement he said 2 million vet exp per hour, and that he needed dedicated players, sorcerer only. I was too late to reply so I didn't get into that group. That tipped me off.

After playing lots of Asian mmos, I can telll that grinding in ESO is very fun. I never thot I'd enjoy running around doing same *** over and over but its making my char getting there really fast.

I went from vr3 to vr 8 on anomalies in 7 hours on a marathon. So if "1 day" means 24 hours, why not go all the way from vr1 to vr10?

I think I'll stay VR2 thanks. What possible fun can you get from grinding PvE?

I just played the game for pvp, honestly, and getting to max rank meant I could go ahead and flesh out my gear to legendary and be done with pve for a good long while.

Also, since my first character was already v12 from doing EVERY quest in EVERY zone, I saw no real fun in doing it again. The stories and zones were cool once, but you have zero alternative paths to take as you play the game. Every character you take through the game will have the exact same experience. Unless you decide to grind out xp on a second run.

That said, my comment was not meant as "Why not grind it out?" and more of a "it is entirely possible to grind it out in a day".

PVE made me losing the fun with the bugs. Maybe after some years they fix the bugs I'll enjoy PVE but now all that's left is PVP and I only want to get max level asap to be competitive in it and not carried by others. PVP is what's fun now and demands certain gear and level to not be a burden. So yes you are right, not really fun but necessary to get the real fun at the moment.
