Haven't been in the campaigns in about a week. My previous impression was not that awesome, but I figured I just needed to level up. Joined again tonight to have some pvp fun.
-First, everyone is a caster in LA with staves. It's just out of hand.
-There was literally 4 seconds of lag. People could not even open doors at the keep.
-The chat was some sort of ESO complaint center. Sort of a bummer.
The lag finally let up to about two seconds. Found a group and spent way too much time getting to them just to get rolled by a larger group. The entire time it was just hitting buttons in everyone's general direction because of lag. Fortunately I had a destro staff so I could be like everyone else.
The few fools who were melee just got rocked.
I wouldn't really even call it pvp. It's just zergs with lag and aoe. I like pvp to be a little more personal.
If that is truly the endgame, I don't know what to say. It might be fun if you had an organized group of people, but where are you going to meet them? In one of the 5 trading guilds you belong to?
Overall, it's terrible.
