Whats wrong with the forums?

Why do they load in one font then change to another to finish loading? You get this kind of off putting hang/pause on every page. Is there a fix? Is it just FF?

Help, it's driving me mad.

I'm not seeing any issues with the forum, it may just be your browser.

edit: Correction, not seeing this issue. While I see many issues with this forum, the one the OP is talking about is not one of them.

Yep. It hangs as it changes from one size font to either a small font or different font. I'm hoping someone has a fix.

That sounds like a connection or browser issue. Have you tried a different browser/computer?

Sounds like it's a setting in your browser or something...I'm not seeing this and by looks neither is anyone else.

Trying now in IE and it looks completely different. The text here now appears bold compared to FF.

You know that your browsers have font settings, right? Have you messed around with those at all?

Forums needs to visit the The Ragged Flagon flesh sculptor. A while back, one of the admins mentioned they would be working on improvements.

No just stock browsers as far as I am aware. I was hoping it was just a FF setting that I had missed but perhaps Zeni only use IE.

Have you tried logging in to the forums with https:// ? The default is http:// Not sure if this is helpful, but it throws a bit of security into your forum experience (at least I hope so!)

I'm browsing these forums with Firefox and it works perfectly.

I run Adblock Plus and the forums work perfectly for me, it's not Adblock Plus causing your issue.

If you only see the issue with FF, I suggest you reinstate default settings for your FF installation.

To note, I am running FF and have no issues at all in display, whether it be loading or having loaded.

Thanks for your help. I think it was the avast add on that was causing it. I ended up disabling all the addons and started with that and its working perfect.
