Party Aggro Mechanics Are Problematic

ESO seems to have different party mechanics than most MMOs in regard to aggro. If your buddy has picked up aggro, you're put into combat as well, seemingly regardless of the distance. This creates a few problems:

You cannot mount during this time.
You cannot change gear.
Often, 1-2 mobs will make a beeline for the party member who may be a distance away, and may be doing things like checking bags or reading maps.
If you're disguised, your disguised is ruined as they attack you (my wife is not stealthy, I am, and often this means we can't both play according to our styles and still duo!).

I understand as well that, in a party, you also receive EXP and loot, even if you contributed nothing, and so a party member who did nothing is rewarded. Maybe we could find a compromise somewhere?
