PVP - Caltrops bug ruining siege experience

The caltrops bug which prevents damage from siege engines from occuring has continued to be pervasive in Cyrodiil. Aside from a 'sometime after Craglorn' statement about when the fix will happen, there's been no further mention or reference to it.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom has been the only person to mention it so far (in the aforementioned 'soon after Craglorn' post), but ZOS has sat on their hands so far. The playerbase in the Alliance War forums has repeatedly asked that the skill be (preferably) fixed or at least, until a permanent solution be implemented that it be disabled (like Bolt Escape is when carrying a scroll) to level the playing field.

The Ruins of Kardala didn't make it through the weekend before being hotfixed, nor did increased strength VR mobs. But a PVP bug being exploited extensively? That gets to simmer and fester.

Armies and stacks of players are camping out on caltrops, preventing siege from hitting large numbers of players as it is intended. Large, overwhelming forces are simply ramming down keep doors on defended keeps, giving no time for a defense to rally or a smaller group to try to hold them off because oil pots from above the ram register zero damage, and countersiege never hits enemy trebuchets or ballistae.

It is getting beyond the point of ridiculous. This compounded with the extra strength of NPC guards makes underpopulated realms truly noncompetitive. They can't hold a keep, they can't take a keep.

And ZOS remains silent.

Disable the skill or fix it. At this point we don't care. It's all pervasive now and needs resolution.

    The god mode caster mercs don't help either. Any resource or keep is impossible to take when you have 20 casters that don't take any damage running all over the place nuking down your entire force. /off topic.

    yeah, caltrops needs to be disabled til a fix can be implemented.
