Account banned
I couldn t connect in game today and it appears I m banned and I haven't receive an e-mail to inform me , I would understand a bit this decision if you could give me a reason. I m v12, I used daily in cyrodiil and did 1 dungeon to level up v11 and then I went to a dungeon in craglorn which hasn t been xp nerfed in the last patch so I just can't understand.
I contacted the support about it but they couldn t tell me the reason why I got a ban and if its permanent or not.
Is this a way to kick me out of this game ? I don't think I have done anything that would have justify a ban on my account.
I hope I will have a respond soon enough.

No mail received and I can t connect to my account page because I m banned . I did call the support and they told me to wait 24 to 48 hours and then recall em if they didn t call me before0

Armianlee✭✭✭Not saying the OP has done this and they may very well be the victim of being caught up in a false ban, but I feel that quite a few of the people that are claiming to be banned even though they haven't botted are missing the exploitation side of things.
IE: In the VR4 quest "Thwarting the Altmari" (I think was the name) after the Craglorn patch, the final area was bugged so that endless mobs of 2 or 3 kept coming through the portal. As soon as I realised it was bugged I submitted a report and moved on. Talking with some of the other players in the area they told me they had been trying to get people to come out to see if the room would reset and try again. A bunch of players were sitting there destroying the mobs and saying they weren't leaving, they were getting a lot of VXP and had collected a fair amount of loot including purples. Now, they weren't botting... but they were still exploiting a bug and KNEW it was a bug. That alone is grounds for a ban. I came back and checked half an hour later and the majority were still there conversing back and forth while exploiting, one guy said "Well, they won't be banning for something like this, they need the subs". Now, I would be willing to bet that all of them (if they get a ban for it) will be coming here and crying that they were unjustly banned.
If something is broke, report it and move on. If it is going to give you lots of XP and loot because of the bug, report it and move on. Don't get sucked into exploiting as it could lead to a ban.
Again, not levelling this at the OP, just an observation.Basic circle of complaints on ESO Forums:
1) Users: Fix game/class/bug
2) Zenimax Online: Brings servers down and fixes issues and deploys patches.
3) Users: OMG SERVERS ARE DOWN!!!!!
4) Zenimax Online: Brings servers back up!

Of course Craglorn hasn't been nerfed in last patch. It was just added in last patch. Exploiting a system bug is bannable as well as botting. Don't the guilty always say they did nothing wrong.

you guys judge me because I say I have done nothing, so everyone is a bug exploiter according to you. Btw I m not sure if my ban is permanent or not.
Maybe you haven t consider that zenimax ban easily, now just tell me do I have to think if I should get banned or not when I find something easy to farm to get some quick levels? seriously do you really think that I know I exploited a bug or just cheated and then came here to complain when they have logs ? what kind of idiot does that ?
Besides the dungeon I ve been farming hasn t been xp nerfed, so it can't be considered as an exploit. No problem I think WS has a better endgame content and will be happy to see some new players. Do you really think I m gonna get another account and spend a month to reach v10 to farm such poor content, I ve been waiting it for almost 2 months and I think this gives me a reason to move on.

well 2 of my guildmates are banned too but all we did together is farm that dungeon in craglorn I ve been talking about and do the archive trials without any gamebreacking mechanics. I know what kind of stuff are bannable like exploits, but when you think about it most of people that used exploit weren t banned like vampire etc etc.
To answer you question you have to report bugs and avoid em but I still don t know why I m banned. I ll give the reason as soon as I get it but does anybody is in the same situation as we are ?0 -

I've seen similar, players exploiting an obvious bug and they say that there's no way they can get banned because "so many people are doing it" and even a few have said "not aware this is an exploit". I started a thread on an exploit not too long ago. Some replies say the same. "They'll never ban because they need our money." Hubris.1 -

No its in craglorn , it is a dungeon but I can't remember the name of it , there is basicaly a path and at the end of it there is a boss (3 snakish npc) with adds.0 -
