Too many players look at this kind of game with SUCH A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN.
All caps for you Facebook generation'ers. Wouldn't want to bore you -- it takes more than 60 days to bring an MMO in line with exploitative players, large populations, and unintended bugs \ consequences.
These kinds of games take years to develop and grow. Hell, it took WoW two before it was even stable enough to stay logged in for extended periods.
Give it time. We are progressing with every patch. ZOS is doing very well managing their priorities. They do have a lot to fix and balancing is going to take a very long time.
I sure hope the bulk of ESO's player base isn't full of these impatient kids. I am actually really excited to see what things will be like in a couple of years.

ZoS is doing well on priorities?
Is that why they took so long to fix vampires?
Is that why caltdrops are still broken?
Is that why PvP bags are still broken?
Is that why weapon swap is still terrible after they acknowledged it was a problem?
Is that why there is so much lag?
This is just skimming the top of the top of the mountain of issues...
ZoS is progressing to an extent, but it is at a snails pace in the MMO industry for game breaking fixes and if they don't get it together soon and start cranking some fixes out, people will not pay to play a broken game.
Campaigns are pretty much dying because of the lack of responsiveness on issues. While the Merc thing is new, Caltrops has been an issue for going on a month now. They tell use they will fix it in a future patch, but no one wants to wait anymore. The last major problem took over a month to fix (see bat swarm spam) and Caltrops is probably a little more involved than that. No one is waiting around to see how it turns out. Most of the PvP players I know are leaving because it takes so long to address major issues.
