This is the story of my account history so it may be long but interesting. The finale is the real kick in the (well you know).

I played through all of Beta and filled out all of their surveys and contributed quite a bit I believe. Bought the Imperial Edition x4 for my wife and 2 brothers so we could all play this game.

On Week two bank is emptied due to some bug 9k plus upgrades on bank sent in for help. Waiting for help

Week three Banned wrongfully spent 1 day waiting and 9 hours on the phone to have them disconnect (laughs really happened)

Week 3/4 Bots go crazy and take over the game making it impossible to enjoy

Week 4 Banned Wrongfully Again second time both times the apologize profusely.

This week finally get my Bank Bug Money back and a lil something extra (gold) the CS called it....The lil something extra got me BANNED again. They gave it to me then banned me for it. 7 hours later another apology.

And finally.......wait for it..........

Today I can't log in because they cancelled my subscription and return both the game money and fee (OMFG) Without me asking for it are you serious!?
Bear in mind I never once asked or threaten I would do that and I use the same card for my wife's account as mine so its not the bank and pay pal says the company asked for it and did it. (laughs) I have to laugh cause or I would be crying at the incompetence. Keep in mind only mine, not my wife's nor brothers which were bought at same time with same card.

I am not really angry now nor was I ever really upset, because this is only a game and the game is that great, however, this has got to be a benchmark for some department in ZOS. Game Great/Company Bad.

BTW I can buy the game and pay the fee again to get my account back online whenever I want.

    Well They would not have apologized and removed the suspension if there was more to it. Simple logic. More importantly they would not have placed 46k gold into my account if they discovered I was doing something wrong and then suspend me for the gift then say sorry again. They would not refund me the game cost 79.99 either. More importantly they would not say we look forward to you returning to the game in their refund email. Listen I am not angry nor am I trying to say this game is not great but, Company wise yikes. The suspensions were not explained except to say they were sorry for the wrongful suspension. Old adage about killing some dolphins to catch some tuna.

    Purpose of the post is for someone to go into the departments and say WTF!??!!? Really we are cancelling folks without them asking now?

    I'm sorry but i agree. Doesn't sound legit. Like your mad cause you got caught for doing something you shouldn't have. Not a flame just an observation. Time to move on. Wildstar is looking for players!

    Honestly, Omg the purpose of the post is not to say I am suspended or banned as I am not. People its to point out the absurdity of the story you just read and for someone in the company to talk about it.

    If I wanted to right now I can buy the game again and log on exact same account and no harm done I am sure they will apologize again in a future email.

    Since I don't know the full story, I am going to have to take the OP at face value.
    All I can say is -- wow, that's crappy -- but good that you have your initial investment back.
    Round peg? Square hole? Not a problem with a big enough hammer.

    Actually, this same scenario (almost exactly) happened to me and I am currently waiting for them to fix my game/subscription being refunded to me without my consent.

    What's frustrating is that this happened after an autoban targeted me a few days ago and they restored my account, saying it was just a mistake on their part. Then three days later (it looks like it could have been exactly 3 days after they lifted the suspension but I wasn't keeping track) I get an email that my subscription was refunded (sounding like I requested it). I log into the account website and see that it lists the game as being refunded too. Checking the payment account (paypal) the 14.99 for the subscription was actually refunded, but the 79.99 for the original game was not. Like the OP, I could re-purchase and re-subscribe and have access to my account again. I'd have to pay an additional 79.99 to buy the game for a second time since the account status shows the game as having been refunded (even though I did not receive a refund for it).

    If I didn't love this game, have friends playing it with me (and very upset over all of this happening again and again), or I actually did bot, I would have just walked away at this point. But since I do love the game, have friends playing it with me, and don't bot, I guess I'm stuck. :(

    I wouldnt believe anything like this either. Unfortunately, I have 2 RL friends who have tried leveling up in the newer zones. One completely new to the game, one whos VR12 with me already playing another char just avoiding dungeons/bots and soloing/AOEing. Both play completely different, both were banned without explanation.

    It goes to show that however theyre tracking bots to ban in lower level zones is completely off target with lots of false positives. On top of it, they arent even quick to unban.

    Theyre *** up royally in this department. Its extremely disappointing.

    Holy trainwreck. I can put up with computer software problems, but as much as i like the game id have a hard to being motivated enough to care if they sent my money back on accident.

    I was given 30K compensation for the bank bug. It was the standard CS solution.

    I'm pretty sure if you dispute a ban, you get it back with an apology. Regardless of if you did any wrongdoing.

    Are you running anything else while playing? autohotkey or something? It seems like something is auto banning you. And I've done quite a few transactions trading and buying things with gold, I highly doubt there is something that simply bans based on gold transactions.

    I've wondered if it might be a mod from ESOUI. But since they don't tell you why you got hit by the autoban, it's hard to know for sure and a lot of those mods are very helpful.

    Gave me 24k after 2 bank bug incidents as well as a false ban on opening night!

    Wow. That's amazing. I feel your pain.

    But I also kind of wish that happened to me - I'm suddenly busy and asked if I could suspend my account. Nope, they wrote. Well, then, can I have a refund? Nope, they wrote.

    So...why are they forcing refunds on you guys when their policy is not to provide them???

    The red flag in the OP story may be "brothers". May be. Hard to say.

    There isn't more to it than there sounds, I too own two accounts. my primary account was banned last sunday they said the auto ban bot was on the fritz since last patch "we're sorry" after 20 hours and 5 hours of phone calls.

    Lastnight - 1 1/2 Days after getting my account back I'm kicked from the game, and receive account log in information incorrect, I attempt again thinking I misspelled. Now I'm prompted with an attempt from an unknown device attempting to log in a code has been sent to your email.. blah blah. I go to my email and put in the code and still wrong log in information I go back to my email and there is a notice saying my account has expired.

    I click the link to renew and it tells me I have to own a product to set up a sub please chose one and proceed. WTH...I call and call and call email and email ...nevermind its 11 pm going to bed.

    I wake up the next day.. today.. check email and theyre forwarding it to the investigators...again...no patience...I call them.. 1 hour and 48 minutes on hol dthe guy answers says hello turns his head from the phone starts talking to other people turns back to the phone and says im sorry Ill have to hang up due to no response. Now Im angry....

    I email again and this time leave a call back number.. 4+ hours later they call to tell me that my account has been banned and refunded and they don't know why my account keeps being targeted and apologize over and over and tell me to just re purchase the game and I should be fine...
