PVE in Cyrodill

Hey guys, got a question regarding PVE in Cyrodill.

My main character is a Veteran 4 in the Aldmeri Dominion.

My focus is PVE content only, and i would like to ask, how can one get PVE quests or clear dungeons (if any) in Cyrodill PVE? as well as those Skyshards.

Am i forced to do PVP to unlock the PVE? How and where do i start Cyrodill PVE?

Thank you.
mDKs still need a lot of love!

Ive done all the dungeon's and got all the skyshards except 3 (ones behind enemy gates)

I killed people most of the time as im a night blade, just have to be careful and watch your surroundings. In stealth most of the time.

Its the only pvp zone in the game, your not forced to pvp but you will most likely be attacked if seen by an enemy..

Go with a group of 2+ if you want complete safety. Most pvpers don't go around all the dungeons as there is more ap/xp envolved in taking the keeps and killing big masses of players. You most likely just encounter other people doing the pve.

And there are various quest hubs in Cyrodiil you can immediately access.

As a side note (this is coming from an EP player)...if you want to complete anything as AD and you are on the NA server....go to Skullcrusher or one of the other AD dominated campaigns and do your PvE.....you may run into a few toons but nothing that will keep you up at night complaining about getting ganked over and over and over.

Texashighelf - VR16 Sorcerer EP NA - FILTHY BARBARIAN
Texasimperial - VR16 Dragonknight EP NA - How do you like your DK?
Texas'Imperial - VR16 Dragonknight DC NA - How do you like your DK?
Texas-Imperial - VR16 Templar DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
Texas Highelf - VR16 Sorcerer DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
Texas Imperial - VR16 Nightblade DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
    It's a very grey area.

Get inside dung, kill boss, get skyshard, just like you would do in a pve area; just be a lot more careful, there are evil guys stalking you (that would be me).

It will help immensely to pull up a map of Cyrodiil from Oblivion to remember where the cities are, since they aren't marked on the map at all. While running around the zone, you'll sometimes find notes on the ground that give quests to report to someone in a certain place- usually those are the "PvE" cities. For instance, you might find one that tells the story of a failed delivery to Cheydinhal and to report to so and so there. That said, you don't need the notes to start questing. You can simply go to the city and talk to the person/people with the arrows floating over them. They give one quest at a time- there's usually 10 total- and it's highly likely you'll want at least one buddy with you (though you can certainly solo it if you are careful and like a somewhat frustrating challenge), because NPC trolls SUCK. Other players are one thing, but the NPCs can also rip you a new one. Some of the quests are really... really far away -_- and doing them one at a time like you're forced will make getting all 10 completed quite the long task. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone else who knows more about this, but I also think the PvE quests are repeatable every day. And it seems like the dungeons there are faction phased, but I could be horribly wrong and just lucky in that respect.

There will occasionally be a PvP troll camping the PvE areas, but don't get discouraged. Just kill them as miserably as you can (in zone chat, there's usually a group of vigilantes that love to slaughter the useless campers. I'm among them.) and go along with your business. It's usually only one sorry fool wanting to ruin things for others. Otherwise, you could be spotted on your long horse run from one objective to another and intercepted. I wish it was possible to easily find which campaigns are faction dominated so that one could find the safest possibly area to peacefully do PvE. It isn't though. Not without taking a chance and setting a campaign (that turns out to be probably the exact opposite faction you want dominating) that won't let you reset without forcing you to do a ridiculous amount of PvP just to get out of it. Until we get a flag, PvEers won't get to see a quarter of the game. I'm aware that the rest of you reading this are probably PvPers. Try to resist camping us, please. We want nothing to do with your war. Usually we won't bother you if you don't bother us, even if you're standing next to us at the quest giver.

    Edited for clarity

I was hoping to just PvP in Cyroodiil, but ZOS put too many PvE features in to avoid.
I was hoping to level through PvP in ESO while avoiding all sorts of PvE, but ZOS has not taken steps to make PvP leveling viable in comparison.

Have fun on the PvP map.

Come to Wabbajack. PVP leveling is now definitely viable.
