Please if you want us all in light armor, make us able to craft tunics and/or cosmetic disguises.

Not everyone wants to wear a robe.

Please don't force us to.

This is easy to solve: Make a bretonian or learn bretonic style... it's quite nice and with pants... Only good looking style

The Breton motif has tunics? At what level does that start? My light armor wearer is only 34, but so far could only make robes and she has all the standard motifs.

I have breton style armor vet rank 1 and guess what it is a robe :expressionless: so yeah your only hope is to find a nice jerkins and upgrade it, if you want to see your legs.
They just have to add the possible jerkins you find as drops to the craftin section and yeay problem is solved.

@Kayira‌ Adding and option to crafting in which you can research the looks of dropped gear would indeed be a nice thing. Of course only for items not included in any of the found motifs and perhaps some of the items that are intended to be found from one boss only.

You know how under Game Settings, you have an option to make the helmet invis, to show the face?

I want that for all my clothes. Maybe then you'll see the dark side of the dark elf, if you catch my drift....

^This. Or hell just wear ONE Medium or Heavy and make it the Chest piece, again problem solved, with a little added armor to boot ;)

    Old joke:

Q: "What is the difference between a dress and a robe?"
    A: "Less than you think."

I'd like to second the thought on being able to wear and craft tunics.

How can you call this solving the problem? Tunics are light armor, they are and look like cloth thus matching the rest of your outfit. Wearing medium or heavy chest items does not and never will replace tunics, they look different, don't match the light armor look and remove some of the light armor passive bonus.

Sure you can wear them, but saying it is a solution to the problem is like saying there is nothing wrong with medium and heavy armor passives since you can just wear light armor. It is not a solution, it is adapting to a flawed system.

Sure you can create very nice looking outfits by mixing the different armor types, but that is besides the point. The point is that since light armor is the armor to wear thanks to armor passive bonus imbalances, we are then forced to wear robes. If we are pushed towards wearing light armor, at least add more variation. There are already tunic drops, so the meshes are already in the game. Just add them to the crafting system.

You know it's bad when you have to be putting on costumes because everything else looks wrong.

Breton is by far the best looking light armor.

The best way to descibe it is my character looks like Sub-Zero or Scorpion with more of a robe than a tunic. The Breton light helm is awesome.

I agree with OP. Even a split front robe would look cooler than the standard Moo Moo with a belt.

...and yea, "just wear heavy or light armor" is not a solution or even a good answer. By suggesting that, is saying forget practical bonuses and just enjoy playing Barbie Dolls. Which, sadly i see a lot of you do.
