Hello, as all of you no doubt know by now the scourge campaign got deleted not only on the NA but also on the EU servers.
I have transferred home campaigns along with the other members of the guild I am in to Volendrung. As I retained my alliance war rank and ap I sent in a ticket to inquire about the actual leaderboard scores that we had after playing on scourge since the start of the game every day.
Initially as expected I received a copy paste of what was said and I decided to inquire further on this as I already knew about that.
The following reply has been on par with the mad ramblings of our favourite uncle Sheogorath (Which although it did make me laugh is something I would suggest not doing in the future) and a proper explanation. (Thanks for that)
Hail and well met!
Thanks for contacting the Elder Scrolls Online Team.
I'm very sorry that the alliance points and rank did not transfer from Scourge. Clearly some mudcrabs have gotten loose and are causing a nuisance. Don't worry! we will be able to fortify our defenses and fend off these vermin once and for all.
I have forwarded this issue to our best spellcasters, who are working on a potent magic spell to resolve this. They will contact you once they have an update on this.
If there is anything else I can help you with please don't hesitate to contact me anytime!
May Sheogorath tremble in your presence

That was the fun reply, as for what actually happened:
Thank you for contacting us about this issue. I'm sorry about the Scourge campaign - I hope you're enjoying Volendrung and are able to battle your enemies for the glory of the Aldmeri Dominion!
When the campaign was changed, your ranking was not retained during the transfer. The Alliance Points used as currency to buy siege and change alliances have transferred with you, along with your rank, but to move up the leaderboard you must earn it by actions within that specific campaign.
I do apologize for this inconvenience, as I know that you and your guildmates are valiant warriors and have worked hard to improve your PvP skills and increase your rank. I hope that you will find the skills you have earned in Scourge help you move rapidly up the leaderboard, and perhaps let you or one of your friends attain the Ruby Throne and become Emperor!
So yea....I will keep playing ESO as I really like the game but I am really unhappy with this. I was ranked 7th overall on the leaderboard, played nearly every day since the headstart and I feel like all that playing time was for naught.
Atleast we now know what happened to the leaderboard scores.
