Cyrodiil unplayable, LAG!

Hey,

I'm playing TESO since first public beta, I love this game, especially Cyrodiil, but I can't play here, each day I have lag and more lag and since last patch is fully unplayable, there are 4 or 5 seconds of delay making the game experience the worst ever.

Then I ask, why we're paying? I guess TESO is an AAA quality game, for this we're paying a mensual subscription, but there are too many lag (and bugs).

I want to ask directly to ZOS if they will resolve it fast, if not, if they can't fix the game, please, let us know. Because then is a fraud, we're paying for nothing, it is sad for the players.

Thanks, and remember, I want pay each month, but for an AAA game without lag.

Agree. The lag is terrible in AvA at this point. Not even worth going out there most the time.

I wasn't getting lag today, but a friend is. Not sure why some people are and some aren't.

I have to say that Cyrodiil has never lagged as badly for me as it does after the last patch.

I've been routinely getting horrid lag where everything becomes unresponsive until the screen freezes, and then everything jumps forward to their current positions while all the skills I've been trying to perform execute all at once. Usually this only happens when I'm in a large group, everyone gets lag at the same time, regardless of where we are in relation to each other. For instance, I can be riding back half a map away from the fighting and still get lagged with my group, so it definitely seems to be a server side issue.

Today I played arround 6h in Cyrodiil, all of them with horrible lag. Doing quests in Cheydinhal and doing roam, unplayable.

Yep, Cyrodiil PvP is unplayable atm. And I'm still waiting on Zenimax to comment on this.

The server can't handle 300 zerg tards running from base to base. Until they break up the zergs there is no fix.

A simple fix would be to increase quest hub experiece with no daily limit, plentiful herbs, and vet public dungeons with items only found it Cyrodiil. The folks looking for competitive pvp would flock to those areas. Why make us leave Cyrodiil, it almost like you punish those that want to spend all of their time there.

The current Cyrodiil design is beyond flawed. It's a shame because ESO could be one of the best open pvp games on the planet(class mechanics excluded).

for us today my guild running in cyrodil we went to drakelowe took down the main gate entered whole raid kicked.everyone logged back in we got to kill the guards again took down the interior main door everyone kicked the minute the main door went down.logged back in killed guards again again approached door lag spiked 90% the raid kicked.logged back in took down side door went inside kicked.logged back in we went and finally took keep 45 mins later lololol

logged in tonight guess im a glutton for punishment i decided to pvp logged in went to alessia we took down wall 90% of players kicked the minute the wall went down i logged out.

gg faceroll pve and pvp that is basically non functioning its looking more and more like money well spent

ya all need to fix these pvp servers. They are quite terrible atm.

Agreed, the lag seems worse after patch. I couldn't play yesterday because this.

However, people are grinding boss mobs for Vet XP!!!! OMG!!! We better completely and utterly gut that possibility - but hey that PvP lag and such...that don't get people out of their weekend BBQ.

And to think maybe...just maybe...the indicator of people grinding mobs for vet XP would let the game developers know that people would rather grind mobs with friends than solo quest endlessly thru 3 factions worth of zones. That people really just want max level and PvP. Because that's what's good about this game?

Never mind the fact that releasing craglorn so early just nullified vet dungeons - before most people even got to Vet 10.

I'm beginning to worry about this game. I love the PvP with coordinated groups. However, if the dev's don't want to listen to what the players are saying - both in their game play desires (fairly obvious we don't want to run 15 bajillion quests) and their voices in the problems with Cyro since the patch...well...I'm worried.

Yeah, same here, stopped playing yesterday evening after 1h, because it was unbearable. Since crag patch 2 seconds delay is the best I can get in afternoon/evening hours. 10-20 seconds delay most of the time. Thats the definition of unplayable.

Rubberbanding, skills not reacting, people zipping all over the map. For the entire hour yesterday I couldn`t see a single person walk normally, they all lagged like crazy. Relog/Restart didn`t help at all.

^ I've been getting the same thing. Makes it tempting to go back to other online games cuz they're lag free.

After 4! rollbacks yesterday i decided to farm flowers and daedric motif books.
Wasn't fun to defend and/or claim the same castle again and again....or ganking the back line when all players at the other team know where u will pop up^^.
Since there where rollbacks i guess the problem is on their side. But I don't know if it is only on the EU-Server again or also on the US?

Playing from Australia on adsl2+ my latency is a constant 200ms, before the recent maintenance I was constantly dc'd when joining a group but was able to play fine solo, as of now I have had zero issues with dc's or lag

Kinda curious where you guys are playing from considering I myself am playing from a pretty distant location tbh the only issues I am having are graphics in extremely large battles.

I'm playing from California, server's in Texas, go figure. It's not a ping issue, my group members are all getting the same lag/non responding skills at the same time. Clearly the problem is w/ Zenimax's server.

Well they just locked down Wabbajack ahead of the maintenance to check out "an issue", maybe this has something to do with it.

If I had a dime everytime I got killed in PvP due to the game's unresponsiveness I'd buy them some decent servers and move them to EU while I'm at it.

Seriously though, playing as a DW/Bow Nightblade is a total nightmare in Cyrodiil. When I'm attacking someone with my bow my character either completely stops responding until I hit escape twice, or my attacks take up to five seconds before they are even registered as succesful hits.

With Dual Wield it's even worse because the server lag is so bad that players are not appearing on my screen where they actually are, thus my melee attacks aren't firing at all even if I am hugging them on my screen.

It really isn't fun anymore to PvP. The only reason I even come on here to complain is because I do believe the game has potential and I want it to have a healthy player base. However I won't be resubscribing until I'm reading reports that this has greatly improved.

It is absolutely crazy to me that with this massive lag introduced since the Craglorn patch, Zenimax has stayed completely silent. They don't even acknowledge that there might be even the slightest issue with their campaign servers. These campaigns are even lag fests when they are at 2 bars of population (or less!).

And it's the same type of response that I would imagine they want the PVP community on here to get used to. That we're second class citizens. I'm basically expecting any problem that pops up in PvP to be addressed 3 weeks after the fact, with a fix coming a month after.
