Escape Key Bug

Is there any news on the Escape Key bug? Every 10 minutes the Escape Key stops working. When it stops working I can no longer click on anything in the inventory, can't click on wayshrines to teleport, and other issues.

Haven't seen any update on this issue.

Hi there! I had the same issue — turns out it was caused by one of my addons. Can't say which one, but unticking the "use out of date addons" box solved it.

I'm going to have to go through them one by one. Hope its not the mini map or the skyshards. I can do without the chat colorization since I don't like it anyway.

The one guy on the another thread thought he pinpointed it to the Advanced Filters add-on. Check that one out first.

I don't have the advanced filter one. I have lorebooks,ESoHead, EsoHeadMarkers,SpamFilter,T's Chat Colorizer, ZAM stats, ZrMiniMap

I've gone through my addons and have narrowed esohead as the culprit that causes my loading screen to take 10 times longer and freeze for 15 seconds.

EDIT*As for the real problem, I've been able to recreate the bug multiple times after dropping crap into my bank, and then hitting escape to find the keybind no longer works, but I'm sure i've had the bug happen while out fighting in the past... as for the advanced filter addon, i don't think I have it installed.

Based on ers101 post above, its likely zrminimap, or lorebooks, as those are the only ones we both have running. I will test with zrminimaps off first *cries* and wait and see...

welp, its not zrminimap, someone sent me a tell and my escape key stopped working, gonna try lore book addon now.

edit* and its not the lore books addon... I give up. at this point after testing most of my addons, I'm thinking its a bug with the client itself. I'm paying Zenimax to play this game, not the other way around, so hopefully they fix their bleep.
